You sat down on the cold bench and let out a sigh of relief. The excruciating sun was beating down on you, making you sweat even more. You longed for the end of your practice, but it was far from over, about another hour until you were able to go home.

Bokuto was already finished with his practice and was walking home with akaashi, until he noticed that you were still practicing. Curiosity infested the owl as he slowly walked over to the sidelines and watched your figure take sips from your water bottle. You already looked exhausted but had a look of determination in your eyes. You weren’t about to give up on practice, for gods' sakes you still had an hour left!! Taking a hefty sigh you got up from your seat and lightly jogged over to your position. It wasn’t as tiring playing as a defender as it was playing a midfielder. But all the running and heat made it harder than usual. 

Bokuto watched you jog over to your spot and get in stance, ready for your next game of scrimmage. The whistle was blown from the coach as the ball was immediately kicked across the field.  instantly your mind thought of ways of stopping the ball before it gets close to the net.

Inching little by little, making your way up far enough on the field, you got ready to stop your teammate from making it past you. The ball zoomed near you as you quickly ran over and stole the moving, beaten-up ball from your teammate and passed It to your right.

As you played your game of scrimmage, Bokuto couldn’t help but be impressed. We’re you always this good at your sport? You seemed so...focused, determined, and somehow relaxed. The way you focused in a game intrigued him, your small figure running around, backward, forwards, side to side, everywhere!

Akaashi stopped in his tracks once he noticed that Bokuto wasn't by his side anymore. He smiled softly and walked back to his friend's side to see him hypnotized by you.

"Can't keep your eyes off of her, huh?" Akaashi teased.

Bokuto was basically drooling with amazement before he jumped and turned around to face his calm friend. "Shut up!!"

Akaashi smiled and let the owl go back to his 'observing'. was that really you? you out there totally dominating almost everyone out there? this was just..just practice?

"Yea!! That's my girlfriend!! Beat their asses!!" Bokuto cheered.

You whipped your head around and saw your eccentric boyfriend cheering your name on. "Bokuto!! it's just a practice!!" You yelled back to him.

He didn't listen to you and continues to yell out cheers for you. He honestly was extremely proud to have his girlfriend be this good at a sport. hell, he was proud about everything about you!! He had something to brag about, something to feel proud of, something to love and be happy about.

He saw you fail at stealing the ball from the other team and causing them to score, he knew the frustration and he knew how you felt. "Don't get pissed off babe!! you'll get the next ones!!"

His words reassured you a little as you try your best to get the next ones.

Practice came to an end and you were walking home with Bokuto, Akaashi has parted ways with you two. causing the two of you to be alone. His hand was holding yours, fingers intertwined as you two happily walked with each other.

"I'm proud of you today," Bokuto said out of the blue

You looked up at him with a slightly confused expression. "What do you mean? it was just practice."

He closed his eyes, seeming to be calm for once. relaxing his muscles he gently squeezed your hand. "You looked so determined, and you worked so hard today. I'm so incredibly proud to call you my girlfriend..you can do all this cool stuff and it really makes me wonder.."how could I end up with an amazing girl like her" you're almost too perfect for me, Y/N. honestly...I don't deserve you, you're just so wonderful. I know..I may sound like a broken record, but it's true. And don't you try and go deny it, because if you do. I will be sad, and I doubt you want to see your boyfriend all sad."

You were utterly speechless. did- did he really mean all of this? Bokuto kotarou was saying something like this to you? As crazy as it sounded, it was flattering. It was flattering to know that someone thought you were almost god at a sport. It really did make you feel happy, as much as you didn't want to admit it.

"Come on, you goofy owl. Let's go get meat buns together. Maybe then you'll stop talking to me like I'm some sort of god." You laughed

The man smiled and squeezed your hand. "I'm good with that"

THE BROTHERS AND HOW THEY CARRY MC

Lucifer:

He isn't exactly the type that's going to pick MC just because they ask.

If they're in danger he'll definitely scoop them up and carry them to safety.

He'll even play the father role and carry them to bed if they fell asleep on the couch or maybe if they had too much to drink.

Definitely will try to hide a blush if they snuggle their head up against him while being carried.

Cradle carry, all the way.

Mammon:

Also the protective type, except he'll toss them over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

If asked, he'll refuse at first. Until they give him the little pout and puppy dog eyes. Then he'll carry them bridal style while avoiding eye contact.

Blushes slightly when they start cooing or giggling

If they wrap their arms around his neck, watch out! He might get flustered and almost drop them.

Leviathan:

"You want me to WHAT!?"

Good luck mc. This boy has noodle arms.

Might pass out if he actually tried.

However if they fall/twist an ankle or something, his tail will do the lifting.

He'll wrap it around and make sure it's secure, supporting their head and legs in his arms.

Satan:

Like Lucifer it's only out of necessity.

Might, MIGHT pick them up if they keeping bugging him about it.

"Please please please PLEASE?" FINE. If it'll make them stop.

Once mc is actually in his arms, all snuggled up with a happy grin on their face, he'll blush and turn his head.

"I guess this isn't so bad. Just don't get used to it."

Asmodeus:

Won't actually carry mc anywhere.

Will gladly hold them like a koala, or rather let them wrap themselves around him like they're a koala.

Mostly will only hold them while sitting down or snuggling on the couch.

If asked to pick them up he won't deny them but he also won't oblige.

"Oh that's so adorable mc! Come here and give me a hug!"

Beelzebub:

Ask and ye shall receive!

"You want me to pick you up? Sure, I can do that."

He'll notice right away how much they love being picked up and carried

Will even do it without being asked, he'll even ask them!

"Would you like a piggy back ride mc?"

Finds it a great mini workout, so will carry them in different ways

Aww, this one is really cute, I think Naruto Uzumaki, Asmo, Diavolo and Matsuda are prime offenders for blurting out an ‘I love you’ way too early.

1.     Naruto – He is a combination of extremely love-starved, emotionally open, and obsessed with the idea of soulmates. A combination that means he falls in love with people quickly, easily, and deeply. For Naruto, date four or five are perfectly acceptable times to drop the ‘I love you’ bomb. As soon as you give him a positive response, he shouts his love to the world. He says it constantly, to everyone he knows, no matter the situation. He gets addicted to the love you give him, and often times tells you he loves you at random moments, just so that he can hear you say it back.

2.     Asmo – He’s a very affectionate and generous with compliments and praise. He says it many times before even realising that he has feelings for you. Every time you do something cute or fetch him something he gives a little ‘I love you’ in response. So, when he’s finally entered a courting relationship with you, he’s not bothered, because he’s said it so many times before. He uses the phrase liberally, but not insincerely.

3.     Diavolo – He’s very lonely. As a prince, everyone treats him well, but they also hold him an arm’s length away. So, when someone closes that distance, when they hang out with him all the time and bring him gifts and treat him like he’s just a normal demon… He adores it, and he falls in love with them. He confesses his love when he asks his alpha to court him, aka very, very early. It’s been a long time since he’s felt this content and he refuses to let the person responsible for the feeling slip through his fingers.

4.     Matsuda – Just like Naruto, he has a bit of a thing for the idea of soulmates. A couple of successful dates and this man is already so in love. He gushes about you to everyone he knows, talks about you getting married and mated to each other in the future as a certainty, and starts making plans for your future together. He is love sick to the highest degree, and he wants to share that with you so badly. So, he gathers all of his courage and confesses his love for you after only about 5 or so dates. He’s just so enamoured, he can’t help it.

Imagine this: MC, a hot-headed human who has no fear. They’ve backtalked Lucifer, challenged all the brothers, and yelled “Come at me!” when they were attacked (The incident anyone?)

Now, that MC always has 1-up on the brothers for their bravery (read:stupidity). So as retaliation, the brothers hide from MC for an entire day. Like, they don’t wake them up, don’t make breakfast... it looks like they just up and disappeared. MC thinks that they’re just gone for a bit, until the brothers see a new side of MC.

They’re freaking out, trying to find the brothers and having a full blown breakdown cause they can’t find the boys. I wonder how the boys would react to this.

A PRANK GONE TOO FAR

Brothers X GN! MC

" We should give them a taste of their own medicine." Satan quipped as he drank his coffee, while the rest of the brothers looked at him with curiousity.

" Grimm for your thoughts?" Asmodeus chirped from his seat, a hand momentarily stopping from fixing his hair.

" They have no fear, almost like they have no self-preservation instinct. They have even backtalked you, Lucifer." He points a slender finger at Lucifer, who raises a stern eyebrow at the sore reminder.

" They are...truly a peculiar human, that is true. But what exactly is on your mind, Satan? Don't go around in circles."

The blonde in question rubs his hands in excitement. A giggling Satan means he has either seen a cat or is plotting something.

" How about we hide from MC for a day?"

That proposal has the brothers all look at him with various expressions. Some seem eager, and some hesitant.

" What kind of prank?" Belphegor sits up in his seat, awake for a change.

" We 'dissapear' for a day. We don't make breakfast, or wake them up, and watch how they react. It will be sweet payback for the time they have pranked us. Anyone with me?"

Belphegor, Asmodeus, Leviathan and Mammon raise their hands, while Beel has to be made to raise his with the promise of burgers from Hell's kitchen. That means only...Lucifer is left, who stares at them with an unamused look. His expression screams disapproval.

" Pretty please, Lucifer?" And Lucifer grimaces, because now his brothers are making puppy eyes at him.

" Okay, I will. But please stop making that look."

And then the kitchen erupts into a cacophony of cheers, and Satan has to quieten them down.

" Ugh, Mammon, you should have woken me up. It's so late." MC grumbled as they walked down the stairs, still in the haze of sleep.

They expected to be greeted with the usual chaos, Mammon being scolded by Lucifer as Belphegor and Satan plotted another prank, and Beel ate his plate. Again. Leviathan would be on his phone, ranting about a new episode of one of his many animes, while Asmodeus would survey his hair.

But there was silence. MC furrowed their brows in confusion at the brother's absence.

" Huh? That's strange. They usually are here. Maybe they overslept."

Mammon was trying not to giggle as Satan gave him a look. Being a demon had its perks. They could easily blend in the shadows, bling to the human eye.

" Maybe Leviathan knows where everyone is." And they rushed off to his room, while Levi whisper-screamed about how he left his room unlocked, and had to be held back by Lucifer.

MC soon came back, looking a bit... frustrated?

They then took out their DDD, and tried to call everyone. Belphegor had made every brother put away their phones in their usual places, to avoid suspicion. Which was a clever move.

Each brothers ringtone could be heard, but no one picked up.

" The attic, the attic-" And MC rushed to the attic, with newfound hope in their steps. Beelzebub had to be given plenty of candies to suck on by Belphegor, as his growling stomach would give away their location.

" No one is in the house." Asmodeus giggled as he looked on, amused.

MC came rushing back, as each brother watched in curiousity.

" No one is in their room..where could they be?! Is this...is this a prank?!"

Almost caught.

" I swear, come out you guys before I skin you all alive!" MC was growing frustrated each moment, and panic was evident in their tone.

" I think we are taking it too far..." Beel muttered as he looked. And indeed, they should have stopped.

They sprung around, furiously checking closets and under the many tables, all the while shouting each brothers name.

But as they emerged from under the table, they had tears in their eyes as they looked around in despair.

" Just, c-come back, please! I swear I won't do anything! " Tears now flowed freely from their eyes, as they kneeled on the floor, their legs unable to support them any longer, as they clawed at their hair while muttering broken cries of begging the brothers to come back.

The brothers emerged from the shadow in panic, as they tried to comfort MC while apologizing frantically.

The prank had gone too far.
