We simply must discuss the insanity that was that d100 roll because idk who saw that coming but I did not predict that

SO

Ally Beardsley's ultimate d100 roll for divine intervention that was said to break Brennan ended up being BRITISH KRISTEN NOT KNOWING (DOUBTING) IF SHE TOOK A PREGNANCY TEST RIGHT AND POSSIBLY BEING PREGNANT and in her ultimate moment saying BLIMEY

and then Cassandra pukes lighting, swallows them up, and returns them to Elmville

There has never been a more quintessentially Ally moment

The despair in Brennans eyes as they roll a 1 and then the utter defeat when they roll a 12....oh is so good

And then we get Zac Oyamas DMing debut (my fave moment) followed by Brennan having to nerf all that shit and deciding that all simulacrum simply pee pregnant and K2 was never pregnant

All summed up by the regret as Ally realises they super needed another healer in the final fight and trying to go back and erase it all

( I wrote down a bunch of stuff while watching the episode and Im dumping it all here now)

I love a battle episode especially when it involves divine intervention, dragons, and the Bad Kids absolutely decimating their enemies

How angry do you think the Rat Grinders are when they realize that they sent these dragons to stop the Bad Kids and ruin their voting party only to see that Fig immediately utilizes them to make a cool ass music video and make the party even sicker than before

then Fabian secures 300 votes!!!!

How ANGRY do you think the Rat Grinders are when Adaine straight up humiliates Oisin by using her sick ass furious fist spell to DECIMATE one of his dragons in a single turn

Eat it Rat Grinders!!!!!

AND THEN how angry are the Rat Grinders when Riz Gugak the rouge extraordinaire (with the help of the rouge teacher who literally loves him and calls him one of the best students to come through Aguefort eat it Kipperlily) BLASTS OISINS GRANDMA OUT OF THE SKY

and thats all before the fated Beardsly d100 roll

AHHHHHH SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP THAT EPISODE WAS INSANE

THE FUCKING PORTER REVEAL I KNEW IT!!!! I am going insane

I am so in love with everything Emily Axford is doing, I was wary of Fig being a paladin at first but it is working out so well - but I am SCARED bc her conversation with Zara is giving me the feeling that this could be Figs last season since Emily already wanted to retire her at the beginning of JY.

Was SO not expecting Murphs roll to be the big roll of the episode (thought it was the fated Ally one) but am so pleasantly surprised bc the Ragh/Porter reveal is truly one of the best moments I’ve ever seen from Dimension 20.

The fucking heartbreak I felt when Oisins ping pong balls came up and started releasing spells - like that was such a cute moment when we all thought he was just so flustered by Adaine but NO he’s MEAN!!!!! Siobhan’s face killed me ☹️☹️

I usually have a hard time sort of fully absorbing the lore of a d20 season but this huge lore drop and how they kept going over it in a very succinct way was SO helpful for me I feel fully prepared for theses final few episodes AHHHHHH

I feel like it’s gonna be just fighting from now on - I wonder if there will be any more twists??

OMFG AND THE ART!!! CAIT MAY HAS BLESSED US WITH ALL THIS BEAUTIFUL ART!!!

Ok I have one last theory for the day - I never really have theories for a Dimension 20 season (prob because this is the first one I’ve been watching as it’s being released weekly) but this season is so good I have so many!!

Maybeeee the Rat Grinders (at least Buddy, Lucy and Mary Ann and maybe Rueben) have some sort of redemption/we learn more about them and realize they’re all just kids in a fucked up situation and they team up with the Bad Kids

Maybeee all or some of the Rat Grinders end up being ally’s for the final episode of the season and they all fight the big bad together

I feel like Kipperlily is gonna have some sort of redemption or reason for what’s she’s done, I can’t imagine Brennen making this teenage girl just be straight up evil with no outside influences making her this way (like how Aelwyn seemed before her redemption)

If anything I can see Kipperlily being a pawn of the big bad and with the help of the Bad Kids finally stepping away from that and working out her anger issues (from Jawbones file on her it seems like she’s been this way for a while so either she’s been controlled by the rage god for that long or they just saw her as an easy target!)

I still am soooo shocked and upset from what Kipperlily did but I kinda have hope that she’s gonna be better by the end

The Last Stand is one of my absolute favourite battles from Dimension 20 ever!!! It was so good!!!!

That battle was so excited and shocking I can’t IMAGINE what the final battle is going to be like!! The Bad Kids are soo strong and powerful not it’s so fun to watch

I hope him and Lucy Frostblade are on another plane hugging and plotting their revenge on Kipperdummy Copperhater

I can’t wait for when they (hopefully🤞🤞🤞) revive him and Kristen and Buddy have a long deep convo and become BFFs

I wonder who it is in that last moment of the trailer for next week, the one waking up and screaming. I have a feeling it might be Buddy waking up in a rage orrrrr Lucy - maybe she’s overcome with rage because whatever plane she’s been on she has been influenced by all the rage magic and god that’s going on this season

Oh my god

My heart DROPPED when Kipperlily killed Buddy!!!!! Omfg I have never been more suprised by a Dimension 20 twist

I didn’t ever love Buddy but I’m genuinely so so sad for him I can’t believe the utter BETRAYAL from Kipperlily and Oisin

I can’t wait for next weeks episode!!! This season is AMAZING!!!! So many other moments from this episode killed me what a great episode

even in corruption, in fear of the unknown, and rage against injustice, there is hope that doubt and conviction might carry you through the dark night and into the light of day
