"I left them all behind." The words are a knife in her throat. It's been a week since Daenerys organized her escape from Endovier. For the first three days all she did was sleep, drifting to and from reality, not quite believing her freedom.

That day is still much of a blur to Celaena, but what she can't seem to forget now that she's regained some of her strength are the faces of all of the prisoners she left behind to suffer.
