Faeries, Cob, Castles & Magic
31K posts
Faeries, Cob, Castles & Magic The world is full of magical creatures patiently waiting for our wits to grow sharper. Faery is my life, while cob and castles are my dreams. I'm in the process of making these dreams come true. During the process, I'm collecting photos of the life I choose to create and the reality I choose to live in. Please do not call it "fantasy". It is real for me. It's real for us.

Mossy Realm
I took this years ago when I lived in a very small hamlet called Rhyd y Sarn. Opposite our house there was and is a lovely walk that takes you up through Coed Cymerau (woods). I read that parts of the walk follow an old Roman road, and that oak trees growing in the ancient woodland were used to build ships at Porthmadog, where I live now. It’s sad to think that those oaks that were felled in the 18th and 19th centuries would possibly be still alive if ships weren’t needed to transport slates around the world.
