In Arthurian Mythology, Sir Tristan had a 'tiny, beautiful, brightly coloured dog' called Petitcreiu who wore a little bell around its neck that brought happiness to whomever heard it. It was a beloved companion pet of Tristran's sweetheart, Isolde, who tore the bell off it.
Now, this thing could not move anything except its head.
It did not sleep.
It did not eat.
It is exclusively referred to as 'it'.
It's heavily implied to be immortal.
I'm also starting to see why it wore that bell.
(There is some serious debate about whether Petitcreiu was an actual living creature (probably a fae-thing) or a statue/toy, but it's Arthurian so an immortal fae dog would absolutely track)

@queer-ragnelle suggested that I added more ladies to my designs so here ya go XD
(Also had to add Silence, even if she's not technically a typical Arthurian knight, simply because she's one of my favourites)

On January 27, 2024, I posted this picture on my Instagram stories with the caption, "I think the three people on the Noble Knight Brothers card are Agravain, Gaheris, and Gareth from left to right”

It used to be a knight.
From a drawing challenge where the prompt was a moodboard of armours and flowers. I went full Excalibur/Green knight for it 👀

Oh, man, this Chilean comic is so cool at portraying the chaos that is King Arthur's knights! I love this!
