when i was a kid i HATED reading. Everything was boring and made me fall asleep, or complex and i had to go back 19374719 times to figure out tf tge author was trying to say. And THEN my aung got me a Terry Pratchett book

I was sceptical at first. Book like any other, probably. Tedious, boring, and all in all just blah.

Then i read it

I loved it. Fell in love with his writing, fell in love with the experience if reading, whole nine yards. I think something fundamental changed in my brain that day

Just looked at a blog where the header description said 'sometimes I reblog posts I like so I don't forget them'.

And I feel like that, right there, explains so much about how the site has changed in the last few months.

People now think reblogging is an unusual behaviour, rather than a default.

Tumblr newbies, please, for the love of baby Jesus, reblog the posts you like. That is the whole reason the site exists - for you to collect all your shiny fandom objects in a single space. Which you can organize to your heart's content. Or not organize at all, if that's your jam.

Our blogs are intended to be collections of posts, not collections of likes.

I think this is a good time to remind everyone that Aziraphale and Crowley don’t know they’re gonna get a happy ending.

They don’t know if they’re ever going to be able to see each other outside of cold passing glances.

They don’t know that they will have another conversation that is littered with unspoken thoughts and feelings.

To them rn, another kiss is more than just ages away. To them rn it seems as if the only way they could have another kiss, another moment of just the two of them, would be through multiple 25 lazurri miracles.

Because Aziraphale and Crowley don’t think it’s just another one of their fights where they’ll see each other again in a couple of centuries.
