Prompt idea: Qrow being in his birb form around Clover. Whether Clover knows its him or not is your choice :D
Of course!!
This is a small lil piece where Clover knows Qrow can transform with a lil’ domnestic fair game added in!
Hope you enjoy!!!
"I can totally tell the difference between you and normal crows."
Qrow and Clover sat at the dining table, eating breakfast. Qrow raised an eyebrow to that question, as he leaned forward with a wicked grin creeping onto his face.
"Oh? You willing to make that bet?"
Clover's heart began to accelerate; he always loved seeing Qrow get like this. But knew this wasn't the time and place, so he decided to instead respond to him.
"Absolutely, you're on. And what does the winner get?"
Qrow paused for a moment, trying to come up with a decent prize that he would personally love to have. There was a flicker of excitement inside those light red eyes of his, as he crossed his arms.
"Whoever wins, doesn't have to make the bed for a month, loser well...Takes up bed-making duties."
Clover gasped as Qrow knew that was his least favourite chore to do around the house. With a determined smile, he nodded as he accepted the offer.
"Let's do this."
As they stood out in their garden, a massive murder of crows was huddled in the trees, all different sounds being tossed around.
"Okay, close your eyes for five seconds, and then you can look. If you can guess which one is me, I will face the punishment."
Clover nodded as he shut his eyes, images of crow! Qrow flooding into his mind as he tried to have a perfect idea of what he looked like.
There was a whoosh, and that's when Clover knew it was okay to look.
As the world appeared in front of him again, he glanced up at the big group of birds. He got closer, considering every single bird. They all looked strikingly similar; Clover was starting to worry if he had just lost the bet.
However, his eyes fell on one crow, which was settled in with a bunch of others. Squinting his eyes, he examined it carefully. That bird darted its head. As he took a minute or so, he finally made his decision.
"There you are."
Clover said as he pointed to a crow that was nestled below it. The bird chuffed loudly as it jumped from its perch and soared across the sky.
Within moments, it dove down, and after it passed through the cloud, Qrow had transformed back to himself. As he landed with a grunt, he stood up and brushed off the dust on his shoulders. Qrow then proceeded to place his hand on his hips and raised an eyebrow.
"How the hell did you know that was me?"
Clover snickered, as he made his way over and pulled him in for a quick kiss. As they broke apart, he answered the question.
"All the other birds were staring right at me, but you were the only one who was actively avoiding eye contact. You must have had forgotten that your eyes are red while the rest had beady black ones when you made the bet."
Qrow blinked several times before he let out a low laugh as he exhaled sharply, knowing he had been caught out.
"Guess this means I'm the one who is gonna be making the bed for a while?"
"Lucky you, huh?"

Maybe one of them mention former relationship and the other can’t help thinking about it?
Okay!! I’ve wrote and rewrote this several times, I feel like this was the best I could come up with! I hope you enjoy either way!
"Oh, you dated one of your teammates back during Beacon?"
Qrow let out an awkward laugh, as he scratched back of his head and smiled somewhat to himself.
"Ah, yeah. Tai and I dated for about a year, our 2nd year. It was...Nice? But we eventually broke apart. Just small disagreements y'know?"
Clover raised an eyebrow at that, taking note in how fondly he spoke about it.
"Tai? As in Ruby and Yang's dad?"
Qrow nodded quietly as he leaned against the wall, staring up at the twinkling sky.
"Yeah, they don't know, though. It's a bit awkward.to bring up."
And that was the end of it, Qrow changed the topic right after that.
Clover woke with a start, the soft sunbeams filtering their way through the blinds of the room.
They had managed to escape to Patch when Ironwood had attempted to arrest them all for defying his orders. He currently resided inside of Ruby and Yang's childhood home on the pullout couch in their living room.
Clover couldn't stop his mind from wandering back to that conversation, remembering the fact that the man who was currently housing them was also Qrow's ex.
He noticed, however, that the space beside him was empty. Clover distinctly recalled falling asleep next to Qrow last night, so he must be up already.
As Clover sat up, his ears picked up on muffled sounds that came from the kitchen beside this room.
That familiar laugh of Qrow was the one he honed in on, followed by not so recognizable but clearly definable chatter.
Tai and Qrow were talking.
Clover gulped loudly, as he couldn't stop himself from gripping the duvet covers tightly and the colour green from clouding his judgment, as he picked himself up from the bed. As he rounded the corner, he saw the two men.
Tai was leaned against the counter, listening to whatever Qrow was going on about, a small smile on his face. Qrow, on the other hand, seemed to be telling a joke, recalling one of their memories.
This went on for several minutes before the light blue eyes of Tai fell onto Clover, noticing his presence.
"Clover?"
That shook the man out of his daydream, seeing the two of them come to face him. As Qrow was about to speak, Clover immediately opted to leave this conversation.
‘’Uh, I actually have to go bathroom…"
That was said very quickly, as Clover made his way out of the kitchen. Both Tai and Qrow gave each a look before shrugging and continuing to have their conversation.
Clover ran upstairs, forcing himself into the bathroom and locking the door behind him. That feeling of intensity resumed once again, as he thought back to what he had just witnessed.
"Get it together, Clover; this isn't you.."
He whispered to himself as he leaned on the sink, staring down into the bowl. Deep breaths escaped him, as his mind was essentially spiraling out of control.
What were they talking about? Why was Qrow so close to Tai?
That questions bounced around in his mind like a force that wasn't in his control. Clover couldn't stop himself from thinking the worst; he hated how angry he felt.
Because he knew Qrow didn't deserve this, this was completely unwarranted and absolutely blown out of proportion.
Then why did it still fester inside of him?
As the fogginess around Clover started to engulf him, he was broken out of this thought process by a polite knock on the door.
"Hey, I just wanted to check if you were locked in there. The thingy always sticks."
Ruby's voice spoke loudly, and Clover instantly let out a huge exhale. He walked over and opened the door.
"Heh, I got it, kiddo."
Fubt smiled up at him as she gave him a thumbs up and started to head back towards her room.
"You're really starting to sound like an uncle to me y'know."
Clover's head shot up, as he played back what he had just heard inside his brain.
"U...Uncle."
That when it clicked, that's when Clover realised it. He wasn't just some random guy to Qrow; they were boyfriends. Qrow wasn't going to leave him, not for Tai.
He needed closure; however, he needed to talk to Tai.
Tai sat out on the porch, staring up at the night sky. The door behind him opened then shut, followed by footsteps approaching him.
"Hey."
Clover stood there, hands in pockets and staring down at Tai. The other man looked somewhat shocked to see him but welcomed him warmly by patting the space next to him. As Clover sat, he sighed quietly.
"You and Qrow go way back, huh?"
Tai said nothing for a moment before he nodded in response and crossed his arms.
"Yeah, he was my teammate. But I think it doesn't take a genius to figure out there was more to it."
Tai gave him a look, one that had Clover reeling back as shame filled his cheeks. Tai just chuckled as he leaned back, as he reminisced.
"It just didn't work out, and we weren't as compatible as we first thought. I...I wasn't the best person for him. Especially when he uh took a turn for the worst."
Clover knew that the topic didn't need to be elaborated on; he knew what that was implying. He just sat there and listened.
"I think you are really good for him. I haven't seen him look so bright in a long time. You both are great for each other. I just wanted to...thank you."
Tai spoke in such a low voice, but the genuine tone spoke loud and clear. Tai didn't look back to Clover; the two stared on ahead without saying any more.
"...Thank you, Tai."

Ahh, I got so many ideas... Maybe something light-hearted after all the angst and to make the wait until Saturday a little easier: How about its their first date and even though Clover has been really sure of himself, he is suddenly super nervous and almost shy and stumbling over his own words and all this stuff. Could be either his or Qrows pov.
YEAH, we need some fluffy content after this week! And I am here to provide!
I wrote it from Clover’s pov owo
Come on, come on.
Those thoughts whirled around inside my head as I attempted to tame a single strand of hair that was proving to be defiant in its behaviour. Every time I slicked it back down, it managed to spring back up with ease, causing frustration to build within my chest.
I checked my scroll; he would be here at any moment. And here I was, stressing over my hair!
"Whatever, you win this round. But trust me, next time I'll fight back with the stronger hair gel this side of Remnant."
I said out loud to myself, staring daggers into the hair as I finally walked away, still muttering words of discontent under my breath.
I had been on dates before, many times with my usual confident and happy attitude, but this time it felt different.
I got the shakes when I imagined Qrow showing up, that fluttery feeling bursting in my.stomach at any passing thought I had about him. I was terrified of how this was going to go down. If I was nervous before the date even started?
What the hell was I going to be like when it was actually happening?
As I was lost deep.in thought, the doorbell sounded from across the room, and I could feel my heart a couple of beats.
He was here.
With a deep breath, I opened the door, and I audibly gasped when my eyes fell on the sight that was in front of me.
Qrow stood there, his jacket slung over his shoulder, his bangs slick back, which made it easier to see those beautiful eyes of his and that dumb little smile that was in the corner of his face.
As I went to open my mouth, I couldn't find the words. I was truly at a loss. I let out several small squeaks as the lump in my throat made it difficult to get any words out.
Qrow raised an eyebrow, that signature smirk creeping on his face as he saw my struggle, I thought I was subtle, but clearly, that wasn't the case.
"Pick your jaw off the floor, babe, I know I look good."
That was spoken with such confidence, Qrow was attempting to establish himself as the alpha flirt tonight, and I wanted to take my rightful place, but the nervousness once again kicked in, and all I could squeeze out was a small
"...Y-Yeah, yeah, you do!"
That was delivered so poorly I could have slapped myself right then and there, but surprisingly Qrow let out a rumbling laugh.
"Thanks for the compliment, you look...So handsome."
There it was.
Qrow was a hell of a flirt when he wanted to be, but that softness that escaped him now and then was always such a pleasure to hear, my heart soaring at that comment.
I could feel my cheeks glowing as I quickly closed the door behind me, and awkwardly laughed.
"S-So! Shall we?"
We made our way out of the city, as Qrow lead the way with our hands intertwined tightly. I could feel the butterflies in my stomach flutter like crazy, bouncing off the walls and making my mind go all fuzzy.
I couldn't believe this was happening.
As we made it into a small open field, a small blanket was carefully placed with a few lamps to illuminate the small area.
I couldn't help but let out a small gasp as I looked up into the sky and saw how lively it was. The stars twinkling and sparkling like they little heartbeats that dotted the sky. The huge moon though rather daunting, watching over us like some sort of guardian.
"I figured you've never really gotten a chance to experience this beauty because of how chaotic and bright the city is."
Qrow spoke, as he lead me towards the blanket, there was ringing in my ears and a hammering in my chest.
As we lay back, Qrow placed his hand onto of mine, I couldn't stop a small squeal escaping, and Qrow snorted quietly.
"You're normally more talkative than this, you okay?"
He asked with real genuine interest, as our eyes met under the bright light of the moon.
The thumping in my head increased; I gulped loudly and bit my lip. That feeling nervousness once again clouding up my mind and fogging up my eyes.
"...It's just I can't explain it. I normally am so confident in my flirting with you when we are in a normal setting. But the moment I found you liked me back and asked me out on a date?"
I started quietly, as my gaze fell back to the sky above. I felt Qrow squeeze my hand as if to reassure me, which it did.
"I just never have been this nervous with anybody on dates before. You're the first person who...who I genuinely have fallen hard for."
There was a brief pause, as we lay there in silence as Qrow seemed to take those words in carefully. After a few minutes, he spoke again.
"Well, if it's any consolation? Leading up to tonight, I was just as nervous as you are."
I let out a sharp exhale, as my face turned to meet those eyes of his, a warm smile on his face. My heart melted at that, as I couldn't stop the corners of my lips curling into a smile too.
"So, that confidence you had when I first open the door. Was that you just playing it up so I wouldn't figure out you were nervous?"
Qrow hummed out loud, and he shrugged.
"No, I definitely took the chance to be the alpha flirter tonight the moment you struggled to even say hi to me."
He said, a wicked grin sneaking onto his face, and I gasped, punching him playfully on the shoulder.
"I mean, you should've seen your face. If you ever find yourself wanting a new career, I think fly catching is a very underrated market."
That was it.
I pulled him in close and ruffled his hair, which got him comparing, but the giggling in his throat showed he wasn't serious.
As our laughter died down, I placed my head on his chest and snuggling into him.
"This is nice."
And that's how it was meant to be.
