Robyn is finally getting a handle on this single working mom of twins thing.

And thankfuly, the twins are good at keeping each other entertained.

But seriously, these birthdays can't come soon enough.

Brandon grows up so cute.

Lawson does not seem pleased.

Working full time while being a single mother of twins is hard. Robyn can't remember the last time she felt clean and fully rested.

Very hard

The twin's birthday could not have come soon enough. Oh thank goodness.

Mommy needs some sleep.

Set up a little toddler room for Brandon and Lawson. She doesn't have much money, so it's a bit bare for now, but it's a start.

Oh yeah. I randomized the toddler traits because, why not? Brandon got silly. Lawson got wild. That's fitting.

The crystal collection is going slowly. But as I said, even though we're trying our best, if we cannot complete any parameter, the show will go on.

As Robyn was browsing the intellegence database before work, she went into labor.

Surprise, it's twins! Meet Brandon, and Lawson. Brandon was born first, and will not be heir. His traits will be randomized. Lawson,however, has another destiny.

Gen 2 rolls:

Generation 2 - Lawson Marital Status - Couple Children - 3 Primary Career - Astronaut (smuggler) Secondary Career - none Generational Goal - Perfect Careers (must get to level 10 in career) Miscellaneous Fun - Nasty Neighbor - The Heir must fight at least one of the neighbors every other day.

2 kids down, finishes that part of gen 1's parameters. Directly after giving birth, Robyn changes and rushes out just in time to get to work on time, continuing her perfect attendance goal.

One day Victor Feng invited Robyn to a party where she met this bartender, Vihaan Anand.

She was feeling lonely, and a bit flirty, so she invited him back to her place.

Well, that escalated quickly.

And soon, generation 2 is on the way.

I was planning on getting her pregnant after she reached level 3 of her career. Things are going right according to plan. As soon as baby #1 is born, I will roll the random parameters that generation 2 will be responsible for achieving, and use a randomizer to decided if baby 1 or 2 will be heir. Whichever is spare will have randomized traits.

Robyn had been keeping a low profile since moving into Evergreen Harbor. However, her promotion to Agent handler is requiring her to have more social interactions. She begins by travelling to her favorite park where she meets Victor Feng and Omar El MajBouri.

Well that's not good.

Not quite willing to give up just yet, Robyn goes to a place she's heard is rich with crystals. Eureka! She finds a Simanite. 1 crystal down, so many to go.

Note: I've decided not to count the crystals that can only be found in sixam. Robyn will not be building a rocket.

After getting settled in her new home, Robyn gets straight to work researching the intellegence database.

Unrelated to her case, but in alignment with her personal hobbies, Robyn discovers rumors about a special tree in Oasis Springs. She heads out to see what she can find out for herself.

The rumors are true! But she does not find the rare crystals she seeks this time. Disappointed, she heads back home.

It is at this point I realize collecting all the crystals will be more difficult than I thought.

Finally, we can begin the new legacy Challenge. This is Robyn Rhoades, matriarch of the Rhoades Random Legacy Challenge. The random parameters I got for her generation is Single, 2 Children, Secret Agent (diamond agent), Collector, and perfect attendance.

Most everything will be randomized (with minor tweaks maybe) except for the trait for the heir. Any spare's traits will be random.

Robyn's traits are: Genius, Collector, and Self-Assured. Her favorite colors are neutrals, and she likes contemporary decor.

Due to a random number generator she was assigned to Evergreen Harbor. I was not excited about this. My justification is that this is where she was assigned to spy on the city officials to discover why this city is so much more poluted than the surrounding cities.

I'm so ready

To start this new game and start sharing with you. But this new update is taking forever. Why is it so big? Why is my internet so slow. I don't know how frequent these blog updates will be because adult life is busy, and i'm about to start the process of moving to a new home. Busy busy.

Good New and Bad News

Hi all. You may have noticed that my progress on the "do everything challenge" has stalled. Unfortunately, due to a previous update, the file corrupted and even my backups wouldn't work.

Just for fun I started a Random Legacy Challenge and have enjoyed it very much. I made it about 3 generations and I'm still having fun with this save.

I decided to start up a new one from the beginning and this one I will keep you updated with. More gossip style than a story line. I'm excited and I hope you are too. I will also try to use these to keep explore everything sims 4 has to offer. I will use the challenge as guidelines to help with their stories and personalities, and will keep everything as random as possible. I will play for as many generations as I want/can. And will not end the game if i can't meet the parameters. They'll do their best, but failing is not the end of the world. I'll get started on it as soon as the game finishes this new update. Yay. So it's been a few weeks since I took these screenshots, and i've totally forgotten what happened, so let's see how this goes. . .

Well that bionic arm is new, must mean that Madi got a promotion.

Tess, after realizing her dream of becoming a pro-athlete, realized that it was not all she hoped it would be. So she did something crazy. She joined a job in tech. From the bottom. A tech support agent.

The timing for this change in career was not ideal, because the adoption they've been wanting finally went through. Meet Kellan Omnifate. He's 3 and he's precious. I think his trait is clingy, but I don't remember.

Kellan's little room is all set up.

He's already playing with his toys. Look at that face, he's gonna be a smarty-pants, I just know it.

This is Madi's 3rd abduction. Those aliens really hold a grudge. They even found her in the new house.

Looks like Madi has recovered quickly and is happily playing with her son. Yay, bonding.

Tess wants to get in some mommy/son bonding time too. Oh their kiddos are going to be so loved and so well taken care of.

I guess I just thought it was cute that Kellan nearly fell.

AKitchen catches on fire anytime anyone cooks, and Madi is being abducted for a 4th time. It was at this point that I decided that "cursed" lot trait was a mistake and began to regret everything. I figure one day with it on was enough time, and took it off. Checking that off the "Do Everything" list. Never again.

Dennis plays with baby Declan. Aww, he's a good daddy. Who would've guessed.

I swear this is Madi's second home. Marcus invites her over nearly everyday.

She even cooks macarroni to go as a side dish with. . . whatever they cooked.

Back home and getting abducted for a second time.

Tess was promotied and got a new uniform. Much better than that awful Llama outfit, but Tess still doesn't seem happy.

Tess firnally got to the pro-athlete branch she'd been wanting. Also, Paolo Rocca got Penny (Pizzazz) pregnant. I was sure I had a picture, but they already have triplet toddlers, so . . . Yeah. I don't know where those pics went.

With Tess's promotion, the Omnifates decided they are ready to start thinking seriously about adopting, so they used all their savings two buy a bigger house. It's not their dream home, but it's a good start in the right direction.

Invaders part 2

"You can't be using that computer. You don't work here. Get off now!" Madi yells at one of the univited guests.

She programs the satellite to knock everyone in the area out, so she can keep them under control for a little while.

OMadi's work bestie hurt her feeling during an earlier conversation, and she takes her frustration out by giving her a tained serum. Oh Madi, one of your traits is good, and your generation goal is do-gooder. You're going to have to do a lot of volunteering to make up for your mad-scientist actions. You really need to think about your choices lately.

Madi: Well, I need someone to try these experiments on. May as well be people who have wronged me.

Okay, whatever you say girl.

Later that night. Oh, I know what this means.

Yeah, the aliens got you in their sights now girl.

Madi actually had a really great time. Okay then.

Madi is invited back to Marcus's house, and we see that Declan has grown into a cute little toddler.

So of course I had to build him a nice toddler room. Unfortunately, I learned later, that I put in a twin bed and not a toddler bed and he can't sleep there, and that upsets me.

Nikita grew up too. Still cute.

Sad faced Declan is cute. What's wrong boo?

Invaders in the workplace.

Tess and Madi spend their off day at the library. Just like old times.

Some cute kiddos come and do their homework near Tess and it's adorable.

Madi seems to have caught a bit of the fitness bug lately, too.

Just a cute pic of Madi and Tess bonding over a game of chess.

Madi gives a tained serum to Hana.

Then she heads back to the station to make another.

At work the next day Madi notices there are many random people hanging out that don't work there. She finds this suspicious.

She strikes up a conversation with one and tries to be polite.

Madi theorizes with Aarohi that she thinks they might be aliens. There's something just not quite right about these people.

She uses the freeze ray on one.

Back at work and Madi is still upset with Hana. She mind controls her to clean. I think goodie good Madi has a bit of a mean streak.

It work. Hana proceeds to clean this counter that isn't even dirty, over and over again.

She spends some time working on her rocket.

And then takes a nap.

Despite really hating working out, Tess has been working out even when it's not required of her.

Maybe the new friends she's making at the gym are motivating her.

Back at work, and Madi is drunk with the power of mind-controlling Hana.

Once again ignoring her work tasks and spending some time reading a book.

Madi is having fun with her sim ray again. She needs some ingredients she doesn't have, and wonders if she can transform some extra metals and crystals she has on hand into something more useful. The hematite turned into this neat table. Cute, but not helpful.

After work, Marcus invites her over again, and she learns that Eva and Dennis Kim had a baby. (Probably a result of hooking up in Nikita's closet.) His name is Dennis. Madi couldn't wait to snuggle him.

Okay, not the most exciting update, but it's something. Lots more on the way.

OmniFate Mini Update #3

Madi and Tess enjoy cooking together again. Madi is still more into it than Tess. Maybe Tess is a bit of a control freak in the kitchen. Hmm.

Tess still has a much easier time talking to people at the gym than anywhere else. Maybe she just knows athletes are the kind of people she can relate to, even though she doesn't care for fitness that much, she knows it's important for her career goals.

Madi transforms a plain glass of water Tess left out into a health potion. Interesting.
