kindreth being a cleric aka the king of aftercare

tav being canonically so attractive that people just throw themselves at them is super funny as a galemancer because like so many people in-game (and the game itself at times) call gale either annoying or pathetic straight up to his face but tav is turning down all of faerun for him. everyone desires them carnally and they are busy getting ready to be introduced to gale's cat over dinner.

now that i'm in act 3 & getting to handle all the stuff w/ the open hand temple. i think about just how angry kindreth would be - really, how angry he is with the whole of the rivington/baldurs gate situation w/ the refugees, and more specifically how a temple that worships the ilmater is responding to the crisis. kindreth himself has known his whole life what it is to be displaced and sneered at, an outsider even among his fellow devotees, purely for being a half-drow (& a male drow in some instances), and the fact they decided complete persecution over one murder really drives him up the wall.

i do kind of want to be evil and actually have kindreth's parents alive. they survived the harpy attack and thought he'd been snatched/killed. they live in baldur's gate now. they have another child. i'm so tempted and it would only further worsen kindreth's sense of self <33
