Neck pains, a May full of events, the look on my sister’s face when she realizes how beautiful she is, and a message of sufficient grace.

Outlets too high up for use, side slits on long dresses, and the gospel of Christ crucified giving us power and a righteous life by faith, meant to be shared by brave men and women.
Who knew shopping for a dress would be so stressful and expensive?
All downs of the day aside, Sinclair Ferguson said something pretty wonderful in the sermon of his I listened to today.
Referring to 2 Corinthians 13:4, Ferguson said that yes, we are weak in Christ, and therefore will be strong in dealing with you. Not that we’re outside of Christ and taste weakness. It’s that we’re united in the crucified Christ and taste sweetness.
From the last CRU Bible study of the semester, something I got from Colossians 3 was verse 11. Ferguson said this-- when we look at people of different ethnicity, we tend to see things that are similar (facial feature, skin color, etc.), but when we look at people in the church, we see things that we are against and not the person that Christ is for.
In short close,
Christ was crucified in weakness,
that we might be united with him and taste sweetness.

Ok, I’m really going to try to keep up with this everyday.
I’m not sure if I want to make this a fitness/everydayphoto/detaileddaydescription/shortandsweet blog. It may be a mix of all of those. The younger ladies are really inspiring me to do this since they’ve been doing so well with updating.
My tumblr name really doesn’t have to do with my beliefs or thinking that believing in certain things is foolish. Faith is my name guuyyss
Anyways, Steph and I planned on going to the gym today, but because today’s weather was so nice, we decided to run outside. Buuut then free ice cream.
And then Island Krave. HAHA.
But once I got home I talked my sister into running with me and we went 2 miles, YAY! Then got serious about oblique workouts.
I’ve probably gotten the strawberry banana smoothie from Einstein Bros four times in the span of a week, so I decided to make my own tonight. I’m really trying to stick to the 21 day “No junk food” challenge. But I’ve noticed I’ve been trying any alternative and just adding more sugar/salt to my food. Yikes!
Bought that pen and handy dandy sketchbook that only has about 20 pages, which is alright since I don’t usually use up the whole notebook. God’s been speaking to me in random verses lately. I’ll read a whole chapter and the Holy Spirit makes me hone in on one or two, despite all Scripture being God-breathed.
But, yeah, definitely praise God. His steadfast, reliable, solid, faithful, devoted love is so much better than life. Better than depressing, lonely, uneventful, dull, or tragic days (days that I probably won't always share on here in hopes of being encouraging). Just gotta remember that every day, every moment. That he loves me so much, he chose me before the blueprints of the world were carried out in physical form. I’ve always been destined to be adopted by Him, through His Son. My lips praise you for this God!
