Middle child among two sisters, andromeda had to learn to fend for herself. good girl, good daughter, good sister. all of these were just empty nicknames that she thought were worth continuing in that family, nurturing and still serving that family. second-born. like blood on snow, always bruised but never touched or revered.

her whole life as the perfect daughter her parents wanted, but never enough. Always skilled enough, but never good enough. Always the angel but never a god.
