i do appreciate that not all problems were resolved with the defeat of the white star. and i'm not talking about the hunters, either. i'm talking about politics. it makes sense that other nations would try to get out of helping with puzzle city reconstruction after the battle is over. it makes sense that they would agree anyway under roan kingdom's pressure. flaking out on their agreements after the hunter's attack? attempting to take a piece out of mogoru? the nothern alliance countries snipping at each other? all of it is perfectly reasonable with the current political climate. of course the varied political interests will clash. of course the caro kingdom, so far a staunch ally, would try to profit from other kingdoms' troubles. of course everyone wants to point swords at endable. that's how politics works.
conceptualizing a story about a school delinquent named Peachi-Keen who has to keep up a reputation as a Tough Guy while also trying to secretly grapple with the fact that he's a genius player at a game called "Cool Chess"
A Red-winged Blackbird looking like it’s getting a free ride on an Osprey’s broomstick. The Blackbird was focused on driving the Osprey away from the marsh, while the Osprey was focused on bringing back a good stick for the nest.
why are all these modern aus for the Odyssey set in a high school. where's the retelling where Odysseus is just a guy lost in an airport who keeps missing his connecting flights home due to a comical series of delays and disgruntled airline employees
“Is nature a conscious thing or a set of circumstances” (from the documentary “The End Of Time”)
Finally finished this one. Posted the WIP a few months ago. Also edited it down a lot to keep it simpler. Still got carried away with it though.
Trying to imagine a world that was starting to empty of spirits just as Jack arrived. How not all spirits have human shapes (note to self- never make it a whole environment AGAIN! Had to slap colors on the whole thing! Gah!). How hard it was, from the beginning, for Jack to have interactions even with others of his kind.
Looks like non-humanoid spirits have terrible communications skills. I’m looking at you, moon!
Might have to disappear for a few weeks-months (?), due to work. Possibly mostly just reblogs for a while.
"After receiving a tip about a family of Burrowing Owls on the eastern edge of Cheyenne, a photographer rushed to the location in late June. The owlets seemed nearly ready to leave their burrows. Over the years, the photographer has perfected a method using a GoPro on a small tripod, set to take a photo every 5 seconds. They leave the camera behind, allowing the owls to feel comfortable. The challenge lies in the long wait to see if the effort pays off. This shot was taken on June 28th."
