Themes

Since a few people have asked I wanted to clarify about the theme for the zine:

In terms of content there are no restrictions aside from it being kylux as the main focus, meaning this will, by default of its inclusion, be a NSFW zine. That doesn't mean that SFW stuff isn't welcome! On the contrary! I also want to show off the soft, sweet stuff! <3

The theme is pretty much that there isn't any theme. It's meant to celebrate 10 years of kylux and all the wild, wonderful weirdness that that entails! My hope is that this can be a little bit of something for everyone.

The book will be divided into "Light Side" and "Dark Side" so that content can be distributed, in general, from the softer NSFW and SFW-type stuff to the more serious, dark stuff. This will also hopefully help people to avoid things that aren't to their liking. Also, since some have asked: no content restrictions means types of media and also tags and themes. It DOES NOT mean that AI is welcome. NO AI-produced creations will be allowed. Other than that, go nuts! <3 Suggestions for things to include so that a wide variety of creations are available: -writing (fic, art, essays, poetry, limericks, songs, etc.) -art (drawings, paintings, black & white, digital, etc.) -comics (strips or full pages / half-pages) -photography (BJD, Legos, Sims, figures, collections, merch, etc.) -cosplay -hand crafts / textiles (plushies, clothing, cross-stitch/embroidery, etc.) -collage (collages or moodboards, etc.) -recipes (food and/or drinks) I also want short, 1-2 sentence blurbs about how long you've been into kylux and what about it drew you in? That means that EVEN IF YOU AREN'T A CREATOR, you are an important part of keeping this fandom alive and I want to hear from you! <3 (I will add a form for that separately, later!) Thank you!

FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH REVIEW

This movie was SO GOOD. And Domhnall? PERFECTION AS ALWAYS. They put him in the BEAT costumes and gave him some STELLAR lines.

10/10 Domhnall Content

10/10 Wardrobe

8/10 Plot (sometimes it was good, other times it was kinda so bad it was good)

6/10 Dialogue (there were some definite missed beats. Watch this movie for the action scenes rather than the feels)

8/10 Conclusion - Felt a little cliche. Some parts of the movie went absolutely nowhere. But hey, the kid actor did a GREAT job.

OVERALL - 8.4/10 - COSTUMES SLAYED. DOMHNALL SLAYED. The actors did great, but the script fell a bit flat. The action scenes were amazing, but some of the plot got lost in getting to a quick conclusion. I’d prefer national treasure as a “finding lost things” movie, but Fountain of Youth is a GREAT experience. Just don’t expect to cry/clap when the movie ends.
