can we talk about Marvel official website has updated Loki’s bio that confirms the “Loki was under the influence of the mind stone” fan theory?

Not a Loki apologist here, he did what he did, but a lot of stuff, his version of how he fell from the Bifrost, that speech in Germany, especially the “sudden clarity” scene with Thor makes a lot more sense.

Levy nodded at this. She then reached inside her dress pocket and handed a gem-like object to the man. “This is a lacrima. It’s what we use to communicate with one another. All you have do to is grip it tightly in your hands and say one of our names, and then you will be able to reach one of us. Please use it to call one of us if you need us. Even if you just want to talk. It’s important that you have someone to gab to when you don’t know anyone in this country.”

Makarov chuckled a bit before ushering the three mages out the door. “We shall leave you to rest and have a moment to collect your thoughts. As Levy said, please contact any of us if you need anything. We will do what we can to protect you from the excitement of the rest of the guild. Rest easy, my boy.”

He nodded. “I will be sure to contact you if I need anything,” he said. He hoped that he wouldn’t have to for whatever reason, but it was the thought that counts. These people seemed sincere enough-- though he was not about to get too comfortable and completely trust them.

“Thank you again,” He said with a small bow of his head as they left. once he was finally alone, he flopped back onto his back, staring up at the ceiling. This place was odd, and the feeling of all of these different types of magic swirling in the air reminded him of home. But it wasn’t home.

He isn’t even sure that he ever had a home.

He sighed and sat up, carefully swinging his legs over the side of his bed and standing up. He could see a book case and he wanted to see if there were any books worth reading.

Levy blushed slightly and bowed her head in return. “You don’t need to worry about repaying us. This is just what Fairy Tail does.” She smiled and clasped her hands behind her back. “You should rest now. Tomorrow, we’ll see how much progress your health has made. I don’t know how fast a God can heal, but we’ll adapt accordingly. Whether or not you’ll want to get on your feet or continue to rest will be entirely up to you.”

“Yeah, we’ve never aided a God before,” Wendy added. “We don’t know how much bedrest you really need or what the best medical procedures are for you.”

He nodded. It wouldn’t take him very long to recover physically,a few days at most. He would rather not be cooped up in this room for that time, though with how rowdy the other guild members seemed it would probably be for the best just for his own safety. He had tried sparring while injured before, it had not ended well in the slightest.

“Thank you. I assure you I will be back to full health in a short time. Rest is all I require,” He stated.

He was tired, though he doubted he was tired enough to sleep at the moment. Loki would at least try, and perhaps eat more if he was feeling up to it later on.

okay but the screenwriter for Thor: Ragnarok is obviously intimately aware of what it’s like to have siblings because like…the snake scene? Bickering at every opportunity? Throwing things at each other for no real reason? “You know this guy?” “I have no idea who this person is”? Smirking when your sibling does something cool because ‘nothing but respect for MY sibling’ and then turning around and punching each other in the face right afterward?
