something about the way winter is looked at by the refugees, how port seeing her takes a step back and calls her "the winter maiden" first before bowing and calling her "ms. schnee"...

i'd joke about how the summer maiden is just minding her own business with all the chaos going on in vacuo, unbothered and all, but she might have just looked at how winter is perceived and gone nah, i'm good.

#I’ve been thinking about this for weeks. the way winter is seen as maiden first person second #which now that I’m saying it out loud I realise could also be paralleling cinder in a way (idk if I’ve talked about this on here before-#-and if I do it’ll be it’s own post but the way weapon symbolism is used to tell us so much about cinder’s sense of identity is so good)#also that last addition immediately made me think of elsa at the end of frozen which is interesting for a suspected snow queen allusion
