I have awful vision, including an issue with a cranial nerve that cause a multitude of vision issues, but never in my life have I not known where I am going. Having poor eyesight is a disadvantage, but having a poor vision, thats a disability. This quote by Helen Keller actually means alot to me. First, it shows that those who have medical issues, often prove to be the most gifted. Having a strong vision is the strongest thing someone can have. It is a driving force behind someone, no matter what they are doing, they are working towards that vision. Next, it shows the importance of picturing a future. Even with my vision impairments, I have dreams for my life, and visions for what I can one day do to help our planet. My vision has brought me to my current major of environmental engineering, in which I am studying to help alter our world into the correct direction.
