Murdoc is back can we get a cute welcome home honey party from his s/o?

You sure can! Although I don’t know if this turned out to be as cute as I’d started out, such is writing Murdoc. Hopefully this is okay!

Murdoc was finally coming home, all was right in the world.2-D was a little grumpy and glaring at anyone who dared come his way, evenNoodle, but other than him and Russel everyone seemed pretty excited about hisreturn to the band. You’d been surprised that Ace had been so cool about himcoming back and taking back his spot on bass but you figured it made senseconsidering Murdoc had said that he and Ace were close and that’s why he’d beencalled to replace him in the band.

Ace hung out and helped you to decorate for the party thatyou were holding in celebration for Murdoc, appropriate considering that youhad met Murdoc at an off the charts party that he’d held at Kong Studios.

Noodle was splayed out across the couch, Katsu on her chest,as you checked everything out. You doubted that Murdoc would even care about ifthe party was perfect or not and your hard work would soon be ruined byrambunctious party goers anyways but you still felt like putting in the maximumeffort for when you say him again, silly or not.

Noodle was under strict orders from Murdoc not to tellanything about what he’d said, which from what you’d gathered was only weirdgibberish on the way down from the mountain, and to not let you see him untilhe actually looked half decent. That was new for you, the two of your usuallylooking like you’d rolled out of bed after a hard night of partying, which wasonly sometimes the case. Dressing up for something was neither of your specialty.

He seemed to be trying pretty hard to look decent for youthough, so in return you managed to deck yourself out in a night club-esquelook that Noodle had help you put together. To be honest, if she hadn’t helpedyou, you weren’t sure you would have looked half as dashing as you did. It wasweird to look like a model, and even if it was nice to dress up for once, youdefinitely preferred your usual wardrobe to this.

“2-D stop moping and come get ready to greet Murdoc,” Youtold him as he glared out the window opposite to where Murdoc would likely becoming in.

“Why’d I do that? S’not like he missed me anyway, probablybetter if I didn’t even go to the party, that way he couldn’t even get a swingat me. Love to see his face when he realized that he couldn’t get near me, frameit and put it on the wall. Be like a metamorphosis for him not bein’ in chargeanymore,” He responds and you roll your eyes.

“Metaphor D, that’s the word you’re looking for,” Russelresponds from the next room.

“Tha’s what I said, melaphone,” 2-D says.

“How do you manage to get melaphone-?” You start beforedeciding against it, 2-D’s minds inner workings would always be a mystery toyou and you weren’t feeling up to trying to figure out how his cogs turnedtonight.

“Fine, you don’t have to go if you don’t want but I’dappreciate if you stayed for a little while,” You said, starting to think thatmaybe 2-D was right in the regard that it’d be better if him and Murdoc didn’tsee each other for a little.

“Yeah, I’ll get goin’ then, you wanna come Noodle?” Thesinger asked, as he slung as leather jacket over his shoulders, opening thedoor.

“No, thank you 2-D, but as much as I want to go out with you,I think this party with Murdoc’s return will be much of an entertaining timefor me,” She replied and as soon as she did, 2-D was practically already gone.

“So much for this party going according to plan,” You said,sighing and sitting in your chair, as Noodle got up to open the door for a fewguests.

The band and yourself hadn’t invited a lot of people, onlythose who you knew for certain were on good terms with Murdoc or would make theparty much more lifelike. After a while of people coming in and helping themselvesto some of the alcohol and food that you’d set up, the air seemed less tenseand more friendly. It was a welcome change and you found yourself relaxing forthe first time in a long time.

You saw a familiar car drive up to the house and a certainhue of skin and as soon as you did, you pushed yourself up and out of yourchair, and opened the door. You slammed it behind you, ignoring the noise, and wentto go greet your boyfriend.

You were pleasantly surprised to see that he greeted youwith a genuine grin and seemed okay. His hair was actually fluffy and notpacked down with who knows how much grease from not bothering to take a showerand he smelled nice. He usually had a nasty musk that you’d eventually got used to but this was different, a good kind of different.

“Miss me did you? What’d you invite everyone in town to cometo this damn party?” He said, as you greeted him with an extremely tight hugand a quick kiss.

“Almost, unfortunately some of them died untimely deaths dueto the diseases your yak brought in so we couldn’t have everyone. I blame thatentirely on you though, shame that you managed to ruin my party before I’d eventhought of it,” You answered and he rolled his eyes.

“Haven’t changed much, have you? Still going off about anythingand everything, you know most people would be throwing themselves at me.Rrravishing me in attention, all of that and more,” He replies and you snort.

“I missed you too, if you want me throwing myself on top ofyou just say so. I haven’t had sex in months now, I think I even went throughwithdrawals,” You joke.

“Try living in a jail surrounded by a bunch of the horniest blokesyou’ve ever met and being a relationship, not exactly the time of your life,” Murdocsays, before adding, “Treated me well enough though, knew royalty when they sawit. Or the closest thing to it, Murdoc Niccals of Gorillaz. Would’ve think noneof them had ever seen a star before.”

“See that’s the thing, you can’t exactly see stars in prison,probably why they were so shocked,” You replied.

“Good observation love, you can’t see stars in prison. Nextthing you’ll be telling the sky’s blue and I don’t think I’m woke enough forthat one,” He says, making a noise.

“Do me a favour, will you?” You ask.

“Depends on what the favour is, can’t agree to somethingbefore you say it. That’ll get me into another sticky situation,” He says.

“I think you can manage this one. Never use the word wokeagain, for the sake of the children. I’m pretty sure I heard thousands cry whenyou uttered that horrifying word,” You told him, opening the door for him  to go through.

“Think I can open a door for myself, thanks. Ladies first,”He says, taking your place and gesturing for you to go ahead.

“You still didn’t promise not to use terrible lingo you twat,”You yell over the music playing.

You watch as he shrugs and pretends he can’t hear you overthe music, moving to go talk to someone else. Everything was back to normal andtwo could play at this game, you thought, as you moved to go flirt with thefirst guy you saw. You didn’t even have to be good at it, as soon you barelygrazed the guy’s arm, Murdoc was pushing you up against a wall as your tonguesfought for dominance, his hands wondering all over your body.

When you woke up the next morning, limbs entangled with akiller hangover you grinned and snuggled into his side. Things were back theway they were supposed to be and you’d even managed to get an “I love you” outof him last night, that and a few other escapades were what you remembered fromthat night. You couldn’t wait to see what the future held now for you two, asyou closed your eyes, and let yourself drift back to sleep.

I’ve got an idea :D how about 2D barely finds out s/o is into gorillaz and was into them before meeting him? Like one day he finds them screeching the lyrics to one of their more underrated songs (me when my parents leave the house lol) thanks !!<3

I imagined this with 12D3 ! Hopefully that’s okay. Just picture Noodle asking you where you met and getting to say with a smirk, “We Met In A Denny’s Parking Lot” while Noodle looks at Russel and then back at you saying, “Now THAT is big dick energy.”

You’d met 2-D at Denny’s. It’d been about three in the afternoon and you were starving, getting up early to finish what you needed to do to get ready, run and do whatever chores you had to, and manage to make it to a doctor’s appointment had taken up all of your day and you hadn’t managed to even get breakfast or lunch at that point.

You weren’t sure what had compelled you to approach the blue-haired, black-eyed strangers at a mediocre restaurant but you were glad you did. Now that you thought about it, there was something compelling about him and you were sure that others felt it. He’d looked so picturesque despite his split lip and injuries littering his face as he stared at the table, head resting on his hand, that you couldn’t help but ask if he wanted to some company.

You’d been best friends ever since, and recently you’d also started dating. It was a wonder that the fact that you really enjoyed his band’s music had never come up. You hadn’t even known that he was the singer of the band originally, listening to the music and enjoying it, not feeling compelled to look into the artists who’d made it. So maybe that’s why he’d never found out and you never went out of your way to let him know, whatever the reason he still had no clue that you enjoyed Gorillaz with almost every bone of your body, especially the older music.

You’d put on a playlist of all the Gorillaz music hits ever released, bopping around to the music in your room. You swayed your hips to the music, a giant grin on your face as you danced, arms and limbs following their own magical rhythm. Your voice eventually joining in as you sang the lyrics to songs that you knew so well. You jumped up and down, scream-singing, until calmer songs started to play.

Closing your eyes, you let your body move of its own accord as you sang, a gentle smile gracing your features as you did so. Eventually, you found yourself sitting down and nodding your head, foot tapping as you leaned forward singing loudly as your boyfriend’s angelic voice graced your ears.

You lay back on your back humming happily along as the piano and guitar worked together to create a wonderful melody. During the last parts of the chorus you heard 2-D’s voice but this time it was much more raw and real. Your eyes flew open, your face flushed, as you quickly sat up. You offered him an embarrassed smile before quickly grabbing your phone connected to the speakers blasting music and paused the playlist before another song could begin.

You made eye contact with 2-D sitting on your bed as you bit your lip and looked at him nervously, a habit you’d picked up from him, waiting for him to say something.

“Didn’ know you liked our music that much luv,” He finally said, fighting a smile.

“Wha-How long were you standing there?” You asked, face growing warmer by the minute.

“Er, well you started dancing to Dare then Hong Kong and, I fink tha was it?” He said, unsure of his answer.

“Oh no,” You groaned, bringing your knees to your chest and hiding behind them.

“But you’re dancin’ was real good and ya looked like, I dunno, a faerie or somethin’. You were mesmerizin’,” He said and you peaked up to look at him, “Plus you’re not half bad singin’ either.”

“Really?” You said, letting go of your knees, comforted by his genuine smile.

“Course, I’m jus’ surprised you never told me you liked our music,” He said.

“Well it didn’t seem that important and I had no clue at first when I-Hey you’re not going to distract me that easily! I can’t believe you just stood there and watched me sing!” You exclaimed, grabbing a nearby pillow and hitting him with it.

“Wha-Tha’s unfair, I don’ even have a weapon!” He said, attempting to protect himself with his arms.

“All’s fair and love and war and you were the one who started this,” You responded, hitting him with the pillow again.

“Fine then, you’re askin’ for this then,” He said, shrugging with a smirk.

“Asked for what?” You questioned, pillow at the ready to protect yourself from any ongoing attacks.

“This!” He said, diving forward and holding you close against him.

Your hands entrapped around your pillow with his arms wrapped around you as you tried to avoid him planting kisses on your face, fighting a smile. You couldn’t help but crack up, giving up on fighting back eventually and accepting your face, managing words in between your laughter.

“Fine…I surrender, you’re forgiven!”

So I recently just dyed my hair a really dark blue and it was a really light brown before I dyed it also I have the side of head buzzed off iso can you do 2D reaction to seeing his so with the new bold hairstyle?? Thanks!!

Your haircut (& color) sounds like it’s rocking!

You figured that your hair was dry by now, you’d been goofing around on the internet for about an hour and that was more than enough time. You felt yourself getting giddy, from your haircut to the dying your hair blue at the moment you’ve had a lot of change and it was the best kind of change, the kind that you wanted and welcomed into your life.

You pushed yourself off the ground where you’d been sitting and made your way into the bathroom, meeting your eyes in the mirror. You ran your hand through the longer side of your hair and admired yourself from different angles before giving yourself a smile. You looked amazing!

You had done a pretty good job of dying your hair on your own, if you said so yourself. It took almost all of your control to not snag your phone from where it was sitting in your room and take a picture of yourself. At the moment, you would have killed to see what your boyfriend would have texted back in response to receiving the photo of the new hairstyle that you were sporting.

Instead you waited patiently for him to come home from work which was currently recording in the studio all day. At the moment, you were now resting on the bed in your pajamas, figuring it’d be a late night for him and you’d see him in the morning. You couldn’t seem to fall asleep though and you couldn’t remember the last time you’d drank some water so you focused on that task, yawning, and threw your legs over the bed. You walked into the kitchen pouring yourself a glass of water, taking a sip, when you heard the familiar sounds of keys unlocking the door.

You grinned, setting your glass down on the counter, and heading to greet 2-D with a hug. He returned the gesture laughing lightly.

“Didn’ expect ya to be up luv,” He said, before he pulled back to close and lock the door behind him.

“Wait a second!” He said, turning back to you, “You’re ‘airs different an’ it’s blue!”

“Bingo!” You answered.

“Ya look awesome! Never thought about whaddya look like with ‘air like me before, it’s pretty neat. Think you’re gonna have to steal my signature look for the next album,” He teased.

The next morning when he texted a picture of you both looking tired but happy as can be to Noodle, she replied with a link to I’m Blue by Eiffel 65 with a smirking emoji and you rolled your eyes in response while 2-D snickered.

Hehe lol I'm so sorry I'm an AHS geek, so... may I request an imagine if 2D had a female Witch S/O who LOVES him with all her heart and she often gives Murdoc a taste of his own medicine when he's being mean to the poor singer and does things using telekinesis to throw him against the wall, making him pull his own hair and maybe other mischievous things, how's that? :3

You’d been dating 2-D for a few months now and the fact that you were a witch had never really, well, it had never really come up. You’d been meaning to tell him, you really had but it wasn’t the easiest subject to bring up, mostly because it never came up in any casual or non casual conversations. You weren’t hiding anything from 2-D, you knew he’d accept you if you told him, you just hadn’t. You also had to admit it made everything that much more fun.

After the first month, you were already head over heels for the blue-haired singer so when he’d brought you home to meet the band you hadn’t thought it would be a big deal until Murdoc had hit 2-D in the back of his head and saying, “If you want to continue talking about whatever the hell it is you were saying, take it to the bedroom will you? Not in the mood for your being an idiot tonight.” You’d glared at him and smirked when you’d left the room hearing a string of cuss words along with a speech on why you don’t leave things sitting on the edge of the table where they could fall at any minute.

From that moment on, you’d let your mischievous streak run a little bit wild. It wasn’t anything too bad, only little tricks and tastes of his own medicine here and there. So, tonight you were excited for two things. The fact that it was your sixth month anniversary with 2-D and that you were sure it was going to go perfectly if you had anything to do with it and you did after all. A little of touch of your own kind of magic wouldn’t do anything but help improve the night.

You’d dressed up and smiled at your reflection in the car mirror quickly as you got out of your car, locking it behind you. You knocked on the door of where the band was currently staying for the next few nights while they toured here, Noodle opening it and greeting you with a smile.

“Halo! 2-D is almost ready, it’s so funny! Whenever he dresses up, he takes more time than Murdoc, Russel, and me combined,” She said, walking with you into the house.

“That’s adorable,” You comment with a smile before adding, “It takes a lot to look as good as you do Noodle, you can’t blame him for taking so long.”

“What an excellent point! I’ll have to inform Murdoc of this next time 2-D takes long, that will definitely stop him in his tracks,” She teases.

You sit down on the arm of the couch, waiting while Noodle runs around the house. You were impressed, she was always doing something or other and never even took time to relax. It must have been a crazy time for everyone, especially a teenager in an extremely popular band.

“Damn, I thought we got rid of all the trash the other day. Guess it really is true what they say, if you want a job done properly you’ve got to do it the Murdoc Niccals way,” You hear Murdoc say from behind you.

“That’s okay Murdoc, you can’t help it. Maybe next time you’ll manage to get into the bin,” You respond, rolling your eyes and you hear him huff in irritation at your response.

“You’re rrrrreal sassy today aren’t you? Maybe we could make use of that smart mouth of yours and-Sweet son of Satan!” He exclaims and you smirk, knowing that his hand he was running through his hair had tugged a little harder than he had originally intended.

“Are you alright?” You turned to him, feigning ignorance.

“Yeah, yeah, I’m fine,” He waves you off, distracted as he closely reads the ingredients off the bottle.

“What the hell kind of ingredients do they put in this damn drink?” You hear him murmur to himself and hold back a giggle.

You lean your head back with a smile playing across your lips to see whoever had tapped you lightly on your shoulder, your smile turning to a grin as you see your boyfriend staring back down at you, looking back with a grin of his own.

“You look stunnin’ luv,” He tells you, leaning down to kiss you.

“You clean up pretty nice yourself Stu,” You say, hopping off the couch.

“Ya think so?” He asked, biting his lip with a smile.

“I know so,” You respond, opening the door before he can manage to.

“Keep that up and you’re gonna make me swoon,” He jokes as he steps outside.

“That’s the plan,” You respond with a wink, turning to call out before you leave, “Bye Noodle, tell Russel I said hello!”

You hear Murdoc respond with, “Have a right miserable time, yeah mate?” and Noodle’s chimes that she’ll do what you asked.

You feel 2-D reach for your hand and you squeeze his back as you start to walk to where you’re going to, grateful that Murdoc had a flair for the eccentric so that the place that the band was staying in was practically right next to where you needed to be. Walking in heels for long wasn’t exactly your idea of a fun night out.

“What are you thinking about?” You ask after a while of walking in comfortable silence.

“Honest?” He says and your heart skips a beat at the blunt response.

“Yes?” You say back and it comes out as more of a question.

“You’re tha most amazin’ person I’ve ever met, seriously I’m jus’ thinkin’ about how lucky I am ta have ya. Is tha cheesy or wha?” He says and you smile, your face growing warm as you lean into him slightly as you walk.

“It’s a little bit cheesy but I’ll dismiss that on the grounds that I feel exactly the same,” You respond.

The rest of the night’s a blur of laughter, kissing, and talking about everything and anything you can think of. Once you made the small walk from the hotel across a few streets, you arrived on the beach walk. Neither of you were extremely fancy but sometimes you liked to indulge and he took you to a place where you could eat by the ocean side.

You opted out for the red chairs in front of the view of beach and sunset and ate your food there instead of the tall metal chairs and table that you could have sat instead. The wait staff didn’t seem to mind since you were one of the few people there and 2-D tipped well. As soon as you finished eating, you downed the last of your wine, making a face at 2-D that made him laugh, grabbed your heels from beside you, took his hand, and make your way onto the sand.

“I’m gonna get sand in ma sneakers luv,” He complained but you shushed him, knowing he didn’t really mind as you made your way to just before the sand was wet.

“Take your shoes off now or forever hold your peace,” You told him.

“Got ya,” He responded, kneeling down to fiddle with his shoes before looking up at you sheepishly.

“Er, do you fink could maybe help me with ma shoes? ‘M kinda stuck myself,” He said and you laughed, nodding.

You watched as his eyes widened, as he behold the site of his shoelaces seemingly untied themselves in front of him. His eyes went white for a flash before he shrugged to himself and took his shoes and socks off, setting them haphazardly in the sand beside where you’d dropped your heels.

You waded into the ocean stopping when the waves lapped at your knees, looking back to see if 2-D was coming or not. He stepped cautiously beside you, doing his best not to let his clumsy nature take over and fall into the water.

“Can I ask you somfink?” He said after a little while.

“Shoot,” You answered.

“Did…Did I see my shoes untie themselves or am I really really drunk? Because I didn’t fink I was near wasted but now I’m seeing stuff movin’ on it’s own. Really wanted to remember this night so if tha’s what’s happenin’ the-” He started and you stopped him by pressing your lips to his.

His eyes widen for a second before he closes them and pulls you into him, return your gesture of affection two-fold. He pulls back for a second and you look at him with a nervous smile as he holds you, looking at you like you’re his entire world, and to him, you truly are.

“I forgot to mention, I’m kind of a witch, that’s not a deal breaker is it?” You say.

“You’re not messin’ with me?” He asks.

“No, I promise, I’m not,” You answer and he nods his head a little like he’s listening to music in response.

“Ya know, I probably should’ve suspected it when Murdoc flew into a wall tha one time. Figured it was a ghost or somethin’. So tha’s been you the whole time with the tricks on Murdoc an’ all?” He asks and you look down, nodding while you bite your lip, expecting to be scolded or told to stop but instead his reaction is the complete opposite.

He face breaks out in a goofy grin, “That’s absolutely wicked, ya really are magical in every sense of the word huh?”

You can’t help but smile back and giggle, “I guess I kind of am.”

Gorillaz At The Zoo

Noodle makes it her mission to find every animal in the cat family that’s at the zoo

Will brag happily about how she’s met some of the animals in real life to random strangers who nod and listen because even though her stories sound unrealistic, they’re fascinating and she’s a good storyteller (She learned this skill from Murdoc)

Russel lags behind because he likes to watch the animals and read the facts that they have about the animals, he doesn’t mind taking his time, it’s not like they’re in a hurry to be anywhere else that day

He doesn’t really like zoos, due his being stuck in a cage and stared at for a portion of his life and knowing what it was like but he goes for Noodle and ends up having a pretty nice time, considering everything

Russel will tell the facts he’s learned about the animals to the others if they seem interested

It’s usually 2-D or Noodle who he ends up telling because Murdoc will just wave him off or ask why Russel would try and inform him of this when he has perfectly working eyes that can read the facts on the sign himself

Murdoc will sometimes listen in on Russel telling the facts even though he pretends to be uninterested and then will turn around and tell them to some random zoogoer as a way of leading into hitting on them

Murdoc actually likes learning about the animals as well but would never admit it to a living soul

Murdoc usually ends up wondering off from the group and checks out the reptile exhibit, sending Ace a few pictures “Check this out mate! Neat, yeah?” before heading to the bird exhibit and staying there for the rest of the day

Whenever Russel tells a fact to 2-D, he’s in awe at Russel’s knowledge and is suprised to learn that the weird boards they put in front of the exhibit have facts on them

He’ll ask Russel about the animals from that point on, until he gets distracted by watching one of the animals and forgets what he was doing, because he can’t see the signs and he likes hearing Russel talking better than reading them anyways

Russel will rest his hand on Noodle’s shoulder or say her name just loud enough so she can hear him if she’s farther away to get her attention whenever he sees an animal moving or being active

She’ll usually pull out her phone, leaning it precariously over the edge, recording whatever’s happening while she watches the animal move

If she can’t pull her phone out in time to record or she’s too absorbed in what’s happening, she’ll lean over the edge as far as possible without falling in with the animal to watch what is happening

She takes different pictures of the animals and smiles triumphantly when she finally gets the shot she wants

She manages to get a shot of all four of them in front of a snow lepoard who was standing up and stretching and changes it to her background before she leaves the zoo

Once when Russel asked her what she was going to do with all the pictures and videos of the animals that she took Noodle replied happily, “I’m not sure yet but when the time comes I will know. Oh! And I’m also sending these videos and pictures to Ace, I feel he could use a spam of adorable and weird creatures. Perhaps I will make a video compilation of them all someday, only time will tell.”

2-D, Noodle, and Murdoc eventually end up in a petting zoo

Murdoc almost immediately gets himself kicked out for throwing food at the kids and random employees working there

2-D is quiet while doing this and will wait patiently for the animals to eat the food from his hand so a lot of the animals will go by him and hang out sometimes even for a while after the food’s gone

He blows half of the cash in his wallet on feeding them

Kids will come over and pet the animals while he feeds them if they don’t have any food or their parents wouldn’t buy them food pellets

He doesn’t mind, he likes the company and the kids are super excited

He befriends a bunch of these kids and will ask some of their parents if he can buy them food pellets to feed the animals themselves

One of the kids follows him around the zoo and he doesn’t notice until they’re in a completely different exhibit and the kid pulls on the leg of his pants to get his attention

2-D likes the “weird” animals like hornbills and naked mole rats

He’ll stare for hours in fascination at these tiny creatures crawling on top of each other and exploring their exhibits

Goes on a mission to find the kid’s mom and runs into Noodle on the way while she’s talking to someone in front of the leopard exhibit

“2D! Where have you bee- Hmm,  why do you have a small child with you?”

Noodle smirking while saying, “You know you’re supposed to leave the animals in the cages, right? Not take them around the zoo with you.” Cue a small hey from the kid “I did Noodle! He jus, kinda, followed me round ta here and now I’m looking for his mum and you gotta help me, I don’ know what ta do.”

Noodle eventually manages to find the kid’s mom and he runs up to her excitedly telling her about his journey while she eyes Noodle and 2-D

“I’m Noodle and this my father, 2-D.” After an awkward silence she adds. “His birth name is Stuart and my name has a long story behind it.”

After talking to Noodle for a while, the mom manages to calm down

She tries to get the kid to give back the stuffed animal 2-D bought him but he just shrugs and tells her it’s fine, “Nah, it’s alrigh, we got Katsu and he’s close enough to a stuffed animal. She thanks them for finding her son after a while and leaves with the kid eagerly waving goodbye to them both

Russel’s the one who manages to get the gang back together by texting Noodle a rendezvous point and tracking down Murdoc himself, his first guess is right and he finds Murdoc telling a random guy all about the bird that he’d been looking about

He coughs loudly when he sees Russel and tries to pretend that he hadn’t been nerding out to a random stranger, “Oh Russ, there you are, about time hmmhmm. I was just telling this guy here about the….You know, I can’t even seem to recall the name. So are we going to wait around here forever and stare at the damn birds or try and find faceache and Noodle? You can only stare at still animals for so long until you need a drink. They don’t even have special arrangements for someone like me, can you believe it? People should be worshipping the ground I walk on and they don’t even know who I am here! A load of bullshit if you ask me.”

Russel just rolls his eyes and walks away knowing that Murdoc will follow after responding with, “It’s a zoo Muds, they’re not exactly here to look you up an’ down, ‘sides it ain’t all that in one of those cages. Been in one of them before and it’s miserable, gotta admit you’d fit right in though with your green skin and managing to smell like this place every damn day too.”

Russel drives everyone home, even though it annoys Murdoc, since 2-D can’t legally drive due to his eyes and Noodle’s tired, not to mention the fact that Murdoc manages to get himself drunk despite it being a place to watch animals

Noodle falls asleep on 2-D’s shoulder and not long after he’s passed out too with his head rested on hers

Murdoc mumbles to himself quietly the whole car ride, trying not to wake up Noodle

After about a half hour of that, him and Russel manage to have a decent conversation

2-D wakes up when they get to where they’re staying and carries Noodle halfway to bed, until Russel takes over telling him to get some sleep and lays her down on her bed, where Katsu immediately snuggles up on her chest

How would the band react if they found out their s/o was a surrogate mother to couples who can’t have children.

2D:

You’d have to explain what a surrogate was/what they did to him at first

As soon as he got it his face would go from worried and confused to relieved

He already thinks you’re an amazing person but he adds this to his mental list of kind things you do

Everything returns to normal after this but he’ll freak out a little bit if people ask you two about “your baby” if you’re out and about

It’s that he has about 20 kids or more of his running around that makes him freak out over this than anything else but after you explain to whoever you asked about everything, he calms down

Noodle:

She nods while you speak and responds with an awkward thumbs up and grin

Doesn’t find it that big of a deal but thinks it’s awesome

“Perhaps one day we too will have a surrogate! Who knows.”

Russel:

He asks a few questions about stuff he doesn’t understand and then tells you what you’re doing is awesome and that the world needs more people like you

Will spoil you while your pregnant, sure it’s not his kid, but he knows what you’re doing is no walk in the park

Murdoc:

He just shrugs but afterwords he secretly checks out the parents you’re doing it for and makes sure they’re going to be wonderful parents

He doesn’t want anyone to end up with a dad like he had so he goes along with you whenever you visit the parents that you’re a surrogate to and practically interviews them

He tries to do all this while seeming like he doesn’t care in the slightest at all

You notice that he’s doing all this but you pretend not to

Ace:

He’s glad you’re doing what you are

Also makes sure that whoever you’re a surrogate for are really good parents but less intensely than Murdoc

He’ll probably become the parents’ best friends

If you let him, he’ll ask you a lot of questions but mostly whenever he thinks of them

He’ll be laying with his head in your lap one second playing with his switchblade and then next he’ll ask about this or that

He is in  A W E of what you do

If you let him he’ll watch you work all day, even if it’s just coding, he likes seeing what you’ve done magically turn into a small part of the game working properly

If you let him, he’ll ask you questions about what you’re doing and how it works

He’ll probably lean on you when you sit in your chair with his head or his chin resting on your shoulder, depending on how tired he is

Once the game is finished, he’s one of the first people to snag it and plays with Noodle at his side pointing out how you did this or that for the game and “Actually wouldn’t ‘ave been possible without ‘er codin’ an’ all Noodle! Now look at that! Isn’t tha cool? She did tha!”

May even be more excited about the finished product than you

Noodle: 

Makes you an offer like it’s some kind of secret mission while leaning against the headboard of the bed while you’re working, “If you teach me whatever it is that you are doing, I will teach you guitar, then we will both be dually talented and twice as badass, yes?”

If you do agree to teach her a little bit of your knowledge, she’s a quick learner and sometimes if you get frustrated and leave you’ll come back to her sitting on your chair smirking as she informs you on what you missed

She’s more proud of herself than anything when she finds the mistake that was causing you so much stress and gives you a triumphant kiss

“The problem is solved, now come to bed! I am tired and Katsu awaits!”

Once your game is out, she makes it her goal to be the first person who finishes it and gets on the record

She actually managed to do it once, even if it costed her a little bit of her sanity

She passed out on you right after acing the game with a “I did I won ba-”

Russel:

He’s very impressed with you, he took a programming class in high school once and it was miserable for him

He’ll shake his head with a smile whenever he tells anyone about your job, “Don’t know how she does it, that’s how amazin’ my girl is. Manages to do that job and hang out with the band.”

Makes sure that you don’t get too caught up in your work and forget to take care of yourself

He’ll bring you water and snacks while you work, putting them on a little table next to you so that if something spills it’s not the end of the world

Kisses you on your head and tells you how proud he is before he leaves you to do your work

Sometimes he’ll sleep next to where you’re working and the sound of his light snoring is comforting

Murdoc:

He’s very proud of you

You both create something amazing with your work and he’s proud of that

He WILL promo you in interviews 

“Oh mmmhaww did I mention my wonderful girlfriend by the way? No? Well, her game, yeah she did all the programming so it’s technically her’s mate, comes out this weekend. So if you have any taste in that dull brain of yours you’ll go out and buy it yeah?”

Offers to put Gorillaz music in whatever game your working on even when you explain that you don’t get to decide what music plays

Ace:

Is very impressed by you and your job

The first thing that he did when he got his paycheck from the album was buy an arcade game and set it up in his home

So when he learned that you programmed the stuff that made games tick, you had all his respect

If he ever sees any of the games you’ve worked on at the store, he’ll buy it and play it beside you occasionally asking which parts you worked on

Russel Headcanons

Russel’s always been quiet but he’s not shy

When he was younger, he was mistaken for being shy a lot

He feels there’s no reason to talk if you don’t have anything to say, which is why Murdoc gets on his nerves so much 

Russel was quietly watching everybody on the playground eating a sandwich under a tree when Del went up to him and starting talking away, asking if he wanted to hang out with him

They’d been friends ever since

Del and him won in a local video game competition and could’ve made it to the worldwide round but Russel declined and Del respected his decision

Russel is the best listener and remembers a lot of details people don’t

Which means a lot of the time he remembers things that 2D doesn’t even remember about himself

Sometimes if he needs to cheer himself up, he’ll go up to 2D and tell him something about himself and watch as 2D’s eyes go wide in shock

“You’re right Russ! I didn’ even remember tha myself. Ya really do know me better than I do! Tha’s crazy innit?” “Real crazy D”

He’s always been the official nicknamer of whatever group he’s been in and that’s how the band got their nicknames. Del was a nickname Russel gave him and it kind of just stuck

In Phase One, Noodle used to fall asleep in Russel’s lap like a cat. So now whenever she’s upset, she’ll snuggle up to Russel and cry, he doesn’t pressure her to talk if she doesn’t want to and it helps a lot.

Russel can cook pretty well and when he does cook he goes all out but it’s a rare and welcome occasion.

When Noodle was little, he would cook whatever she asked when she craved real food and missed home. He’d hum to himself while Noodle watched him make the food, sitting next to him on the counter.

Russel is usually the one stuck doing the laundry. He does 2D’s sometimes if he’s feeling generous because if not 2D will just throw whatever he wore that day in the trash and buy new “clean” clothes from the store and sometimes even forget to take off the tags.

Russel may not have known exactly what he was doing with a kid but he made sure to teach Noodle the bare minimum of what she’d need to know. Personal hygiene, how to make simple foods for when she was hungry, ect.

Gorillaz Overwatch Headcanons

Noodle mains Sombra and Moira but can play literally everyone with skill

Murdoc mains Junkrat and D.va

2D mains Mercy

He’s the best attack Mercy you’ve ever seen because when Murdoc started playing with them, he would focus on killing only 2D

“Don’t look at me like that mate, you know you always have to kill the healer or you’ll be in the shit. Right Noodle?” “I’m not helping you win in an argument after you obliterated us in the last match”

Murdoc would laugh maniacally while killing 2D again and again

2D got so good to the point he easily could get a headshot in and then quickly heal whoever Noodle was playing

Russel will usually just watch in amusement while this all happens hearing the noises from the separate rooms

Noodle and 2D will usually play next to each other in the same room

Either with their backs pressed up against each other, shoulder to shoulder, or Noodle on the bed

If Noodle’s on the bed, she’ll hang half way over the bed to quickly high five 2D before the next match if they won

If they have extra time she’ll slide next to him and they’ll talk

Russel prefers to watch rather than play

If he plays, he doesn’t play seriously and will sometimes wonder off looking at the different hidden details and stamping stuff with stickers which drives all other three band members crazy

He’ll play the easier characters like Reaper or Soldier 76

If he ever actually bothers, he’s surprisingly very good at the game

Him and Del once got into the winning competition of a video game contest when they were younger, Russel’s skilled in the gaming area

If all four of them play together in a match, the other teams hate them

Russel basically running around doing his own thing, only killing people who bother him

While the rest of the team is kicking serious ass

Murdoc is that guy who screams and shitposts in the chats

You’ll be playing casually and then you hear an ungodly screech. Is it Murdoc? Is it Cortez? The world may never know

Plastic Beach:

Befriends 2D the best she can without trying to scare him

She gets an unconscious habit of her fans whirring to replicate laughter since she’s found out that this means happiness when humans do it

If 2D makes a bad pun on accident she will whir in appreciation

Much to Murdoc’s disappointment, she likes a lot of modern music and what’s popular on the small radio they have

Whenever no one’s around, she’ll turn it to the pop station, sitting and listening to the music

Carries around a little notepad with her to write down or draw whatever pops into her mind

After Plastic Beach:

Tries wearing lolita fashion for a little bit before giving up and becoming a pastel goth

Seeks out someone to try and get her a way to talk

She doesn’t want to be deactivated, she has thoughts and what she thinks are close to human feelings 

This leads to her never getting a voice box 

She learns sign language and carries around a notebook with her to write down on when people try to talk to her

She did try traveling the world and eventually settled down in Australia

She’ll try different wigs on but generally keeps to her normal hair

Reached out to 2D and texted him once she got a working phone

She likes bicycles actually, she’s very active in a sense

Any kind of activity that doesn’t include water, she generally likes

She’s waterproof, of course, but something about the water is unsettling to her and she learned not to trust anything ocean related on Plastic Beach

The first time she saw snow she was in awe and sat cross legged in the middle of a random field watching the tiny flakes fall

She always manages to snag you a front row ticket

Instead of going tour alone, now she has you with her! Murdoc always rolls his eyes or will make immature gagging noises at Noodle and your cute antics backstage and on the road together, Russel encourages it bc he likes seeing his adopted daughter happy (and he doesn’t mind Murdoc getting irritated too much either), and 2D thinks you two are the neatest and most adorable thing since sliced bread

Staying up late on the road with Noodle if you two ever stay up the entire night exploring the city and goofing around after a concert, you have the best time the next morning. Laughing and snickering together when you can’t understand 2D’s accent, all in good fun, and rolling into laughter at every little thing

Noodle will make a joke and cue laughing into her shoulder bc your girlfriend is the funniest person you’ve ever met and no sleep amplifies that, you two will be the most upbeat and silly messes ever after those night

Eventually, you two will pass out in the middle of the day either entangled together or lying ontop of each other, falling asleep repeating how much you love each other, you trying to convince her that you love her more and you trying to convince her of the same thing.

If she falls asleep on your shoulder in the middle of the day cue you sitting there trying to be as still as possible because you don’t want to wake her up and you’re blushing since the cutest girl on earth is asleep on you

Proudly telling everyone going to the concert or who talks to you that the badass beautiful girl on the guitar? That’s your girlfriend right there!

Noodle will smile at your occasionally during the songs. She gets really absorbed in the music so she’s in a whole different world where’s she’s calm, happy, and at peace. Then she gets to come out of that world to see you and your smiling face as you’re watching everyone on stage, bopping to music, and tearing up in excitement! She loves performing even more since she’s met you because of this

Your room is literally filled to the brim with merch. Whenever they get anything new shipped in, Noodle makes sure you’re the first person to get to see it. 

It makes her so happy to see you looking like a child on Christmas when you open the packages for whatever new thing the Gorillaz are selling

She loves your accent and thinks it’s cute, you two will sometimes try and take on the other’s accents for the day and always end up dying of laughter.

Noodle loves traveling period but she gets especially excited to go to America now. You assure her it’s nothing special and the band is so much more interesting and cool but she begs you to take her around to your favourite places where you made good memories, show her, and tell her the stories. She’s so fascinated by everything around you and it’s her turn to be starstruck as you excitedly point out cool places and tell her stories about a random thing that happened to you at a certain place in America

She will return every compliment you excitedly give her.

You two are probably the most energetic and upbeat people AT the Gorillaz concerts which is pretty impressive considering how happy and excited the people at the shows there are
