i love writing fallout fics i love depicting the lone wanderer as the embodiment of elder lyon’s brotherhood and his ideals about people first etcetera with a little side plot of them being lowk involved with sarah and helping her care for arthur and arthur seeing them almost like a parental figure the way he does sarah

and then forcing them up to massachusetts to witness the fo4 plot after years of not being involved in the brotherhood, leaving after sarah died, just for them to be HORRIFIED at what arthur’s become. girl if you don’t drag his ass by his ear!! whoop him or get a belt girl do SOMETHING

i think my favourite moments in this game are the ones where you get to stop and breathe? finishing the trawl through a super-mutant-infested high-rise and sitting on a balcony watching the sun rise over the ruined city with your companion. it’s just stopping and watching the broken down but still beautiful and somehow alive world when i feel most connected to my survivor. just. taking a breath
