"Brendon Urie ruined Panic! At The Disco!"
I think a lot of people ignore the fact Panic At The Disco was young. I mean by the members of Panic!. Pretty Odd and A fever you can't sweat out have very different genres to them. Infact most of Panic! Albums do. Ryan wanted to sick with that theme of Pretty Odd. A lot of you aren't aware Jon Walker and Ryan Ross were in a band together besides Panic!. That was The Young Veins. Ryan and Jon had said they were still sort of friends with Brendon Urie and Spencer Smith. Brendon did change genres a lot which probably did annoy band members but if he had just stuck to the same genre he wouldn't feel like he could be as creative. Also Ryan had been messaging who he had thought was Brendon Urie but infact it was a fan who had pretended to be Brendon. Which that would damage a friendship and trust so it's likely they just faded and slowly stopped becoming friends. For all we know they could still be friends. Ryan did do a preformance with another Former Panic member Dallon Weekes who had a pretty bad fallen out with Brendon Urie. Dallon felt a bit underappreciated, they had different personalitys. Dallon did throw shade many times at Brendon but Brendon still said they have nothing against him and he hopes he's doing good. “They agreed it wasn’t a big feud, but creative shifts and personal differences caused distance.” Brendon had stated this to people asking about Dallon. "Can I please talk about Dallon? What about him? I hope he's doing great. I hate to see all this negativity. But you know what, I’m just gonna keep being positive because that’s how I feel, and I sure that’s how he feels. We’re both looking for positivity, and that’s exactly how I feel. I support him 100%. I’m excited to see what he gets up to. I hope everybody else feels that same way. Enough said." - Brendon Urie, January 2018 I don't know fully about the Dallon and Brendon so he's a reddit quote and thread link R/idontknowhowtheyfoundme Are Dallon Weekes and Brendon Urie still friends?
'No chance. They had a bad falling out. Dallon sends occasional shots at P!ATD. Brendon doesn't return fire publicly.

But I am certain Urie feels differently about Dallon behind the scenes. As far as I can find Brendon has never talked about Dallon again publicly after that quote. Does anyone remember that video of Dallon and Ryan at a record shop taking shots at P!ATD and Falling In Reverse? I swear it exists but I can't find it.'
'Other than the examples listed in that article I linked, we don't really know for sure. Brendon demoted Dallon from a full-time member making significant creative contributions to just being a touring member in 2015. It's not clear why this decision was made but Breezy said that the demotion was against Dallon's wishes.
"I wrote songs for Panic! At The Disco for a number of years. Then they started hiring professional hit makers and didn’t have much use for me anymore. That is when I started writing the songs for iDKHOW." - Dallon Weeks, July 2019.
It is a commonly stated misconception in the P!ATD community that Dallon was demoted because of iDKHOW. But that's exactly backwards. Dallon started iDKHOW because he was demoted by Urie.
I think Dallon probably resents Brendon for not recognizing him as an equal creative partner and instead only seeing him as just another hired gun in his fake "band" (solo project).
Brendon probably resented how much people admired Dallon and felt that Dallon was hogging the spotlight in what was supposed to essentially be the Brendon Urie show. Brendon undermined Dallon's creative contributions constantly in public before privately cutting him out entirely creatively.'
But as of 2025 they don't seem to hate each other, another reddit post said they weren't friends but they don't have an issue with each other anymore. Not that Brendon seemed to have an issue with Dallon but i do understand why Dallon was upset. But I think Dallon was just throwing shade because of how big Brendon was then. Ryan Ross Apparently had a huge ego and was described as 'subborn and rude' Towards fans and interviewers. After Panic!'s first album blew up a change in Ryan Ross's attitude and personality showed according to fans and interviwers. Now this is common with young people getting famous they do get a big ego. I have seen clips where he has been rude to fans, but it's unclear if theres more context and Ryan doesn't have to be nice and sweet to fans but it's a dick thing to do. So to everyone saying Ryan Ross is an innocent person he isn't. He had also apparently cheated on his Girlfriend. NOW EVERYTHING I'M SAYING HERE IS UNCLEAR IF THIS IS TRUE OR JUST SOME CRAZY EX FRIEND. He had abused his dog and left him in a room for hours with no food and apparently abused his girlfriend as well '
My views on Ryan whilst in PATD is very much the same as how he views his younger self.
He was young, he became famous very quickly, he thought he was the shit, he thought he could make lightning strike twice with The Young Veins, got a very rude wake up call that talent is only a fraction of what it takes to make it in the music industry, and as a result became very disillusioned by fame and the music industry very quickly (and it was not helped by his various addictions).
Like, he's not an awful guy, and I kind of hate it when people suggest he is. Ryan in his late-30s has figured out that whilst the band still needed to split, the way he went about with The Young Veins (lack of marketing, etc.) was not the right way. That he could've done it better. He was more than happy to let PATD go and let The Young Veins be his success story, but he does understand that he didn't go about it the right way and didn't understand what makes a band successful.
But now? I think he, along with many PATD fans, realised that PATD was the success story it was because of him, Brendon, and Spencer working together as a team. Not because of ONE PERSON. I do hope that him, Brendon, and Spencer can start talking again. I have a feeling that Brendon and Ryan will eventually run into each other sometime in the next 5 years. Never underestimate how small LA is, folks.'
This is a very good reddit post. He's just a big ego'ed dude. But i doubt he was abusive, their was no real proof of him being abusive i think because the internet adored him he was going to get big again with The Young Veins but he just wasn't. Yeah, it's not really anyones fault it's just growing up and having different eras.
