the new hong lu season 6 is amazing because not only will it do a bajilion dmg, you also get to see hong lu stabbed through the stomach with a big hard blood spear, two things limbus company desperately needed more of

mirror dungeon is such a funny concept because dante is making them become the worst most traumatized versions of themselves just to grind out a some more battlepass exp and lunacy

Predictions for canto 8

likely and reasonable: hong lu wont actually be the family head

also likely: it will be xichun

less likely: it will be jia qiu

pretty unlikely: entire family dies and no one is head unreasonable, insane, will not happen: hong lu is made the head and becomes unplayble for the rest of the story (forced to be a ceo) even more unreasonble but way funnier: entire family survives, hong lu is the head, the whole jia family joins the sinners and they strap the vast garden H corp megastructure onto the back of mephistophles like a surf board, every future canto is now a superman-esque setup where the writers have to find ways to add conflict that cant be explained away by limbus company having the entire family at its disposal

even less likely than that somehow: we get a new shi ID

I'm thinking about the "boss fight" agaisnt Baba Yaga where we dont' even fight her, we fight the frozen corpses of the indentured servants corroded by her. And when the first round starts, the instrumental of Rodion's Pass On is already playing, then the last three subsequent rounds are the main Limbus theme (the Leviathan leitmotif one).

Rodion never actually resolves any of her inner demons and we never actually fight the final boss (hell we don't really fight ANY of the Abnormalities, because they're either too big or too abstract to face directly, so we only end up picking off their minions affected by said Abnos); still, we're already hearing the end credits theme, then we're hearing the victory theme.

She's basically saying "Okay, enough of that now! Roll credits! Look guys we're winning, let's get out of here!" when we haven't even finished the final leg of the chapter. She wants this over with already!

I really hope hong lu and outis don't have a dead wife plotline because 4/12 is really a bit ridiculous in terms of dead-wifage, thats a whole 1/3rd of the sinners (plus whatever may or may not happen with Dante and Beatrice which could bring it up to 5/12)
