The HAIR Project
TASK
Create a relevant and innovative work of art.
Do a prepwork in which you show your research and your idea development until a final composition sketch.Take care vor the visual composition of the prepwork. You got to use a (max. 2) sheets 50x70cm.
For the final piece, you are free to chose the technique (acrylic/sketch/Aquarell on paper or photo or video or object or performance or mixed media or print or...). If it is done on paper the max. size is 50x70cm - min. 30x40 cm. Your work got to be presented on a 50x70cm sheet.
Do at least a comment, in which you describe and analyse your workflow and analyse your final piece (Is it the way you thought it ought to be? Would you change something? Show the influence of artists you are inspired by.
Find the detailed grading criteria in the syllabus. Prepwork is 40%, Final Piece 50% and comment 10% of the grade

Time and time stretch can be powerful tools in an performance. Also the interaction of bodies which refer here clearly to dance.

Sometimes the performer becomes an object. Now the focus is no longer only at the action performed. Also the audience, it's reaction and interaction becomes part of the performance.

To perform means to act in an symbolic way, so that a (simple) action can be enriched and charged by recpient's associations.

After 2 days of teambuilding and of an intense work for the theater basics space, time, focus, rhythm, movements, body tension, language and music/noise we reach out to grab the distance between theater and performance. Here we go with some examples for performance:

1.WSHP: inSIDEout
See some 2D-Output we created while our first workshop. We played around in connection to the sujet: inSIDEout - IT'S WRITTEN ON MY FACE.
This topic deals with the characteristics, which makes us unique - and at the same time they let us feel united with or different to others.
The results vary between typographic and more abstract solutions -
between characteristics, simple emotions - and big matters in a more symbolic form.
