FAM meets Maria Luisa Rocchi Flowers

-Flowers are never out of style. How would you describe your floral arranging or floral creations style?

The style of our creations is always different and it depends on flowers seasonality and inspired by the shape and style of its container and also the occasion which our compositions are prepared for.

-How do you think flowers can reflect and influence people's lives ? First of all, flowers increase good vibes, decorate houses and tables and last but not least they're always very well-accepted gift for women.

-What do you think makes the difference in your creations? The unique style, the love, the passion, the care of details and the thought behind every single decoration.

-Do you have you're own philosophy in your job? if yes in what does it consist? The pursuit of beauty, always.

-Do you have you're own philosophy in your job? if yes in what does IT consist? Today thanks to the internet we're always linked to the rest of the world. Although we are based in Rome, it's not hard at all to buy flowers from Holland, pots, candles and other decorative objects from every part of the world.

- I fiori non sono mai fuori moda, come descriveresti le tue creazioni floreali o il loro stile? Lo stile delle nostre creazioni è sempre diverso e segue la stagionalità dei fiori, la forma e lo stile del contenitore, l'occasione per le quali vengono preparate.  

- In che modo pensi che i fiori possano rispecchiare e influenzare la vita delle persone? I fiori mettono allegria, arredano la casa e la tavola, sono omaggi graditi alle signore.

- Cosa pensi che faccia la differenza nelle vostre creazioni? Lo stile, l'amore, la passione, la cura del dettaglio e il pensiero che c'è dietro ogni singola decorazione.

- Hai una filosofia nel tuo lavoro? E se sì, in che cosa consiste ? La ricerca del bello, sempre.

-Flowers and The City. Com'è lavorare come fiorista e floral-designer qui a Roma? Oggi con internet siamo in contatto con il mondo sempre. Anche stando a Roma non è difficile acquistare direttamente fiori dall'Olanda  e vasi, oggetti, contenitori, candele da ogni parte del mondo.

The Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art of New York dedicated to the talent of Lee Alexander McQueen an exhibition " Savage Beauty", created by the Metropolitan Museum Costume Institut, which will be enlarged and replicated in the major exhibition galleries of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London from March 14, 2015. The review, supervised by Sarah Burton, former assistant and heiress of McQueen, is already an unmissable event for all Europeans fashionistas. There will be additional 30 garments in London, including some rare pieces of the first period of McQueen, provided by private collectors. Plato's Atlantis Spring/summer 2010 With this event, Alexander Mc Queen opens up the exclusive world of the fashion show to the generals public. In collaboration with award-winning photographer and web publisher Nick Knight, the show will be live-streaming to the Internet. Chart-topping singer Lady Gaga has just announced via Twitter that the recording of her latest song will debut during Che McQueen's show. Foreseeing a time when the polar ice caps have melted and the seas have risen, McQueen predicts a future in which humans, with the aid of bioengineering, reverse evolution and return to the sea from which all life came. "Plato's Atlantis", the title of the show, refer the legendary island described by the classic Greek philosopher as having sunk beneath the sea. McQueen explains that his show is based on fantasy, myth, and legend. He sees Atlantis as a place "where the people find sanctuary in bad times". On the catwalk at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy, two robotic cameras greet the audience. The cameras move the length of the white catwalk on tracks, their snake-like necks following the models' movements. Images Fromm the cameras are projected like on a screen at the back of the stage, which is designed to look like a white-filed laboratory, suggesting that each model is a biological experiment in evolution. The models' make up -- whited-out eyebrow, built-up cheekbones, and "gills" at the temples -- emphasizes the hybrid theme.
