This is a very 2000s Hermione from the simply amazing podcast from @fanatical-fics episode 69. The fanfic this particular look stems from the pure goldmine fic which is called "Your Valentine awaits" . Her outfit description when she looks at herself in the mirror before meeting her secret admirer:

"She looked at herself one last time in the full-lengh mirror. She was in a blue v-neck sweater and a long blue jeans skirt with slits at the side. She didn't wear much makeup either. Just plain and a bit of blue eyeshadow."

I also completed her look with really cute and subtle hot-pink plattform-sandals (they may be crocks, who knows?) and a glittering gold toe-rring (because that is the shitttttt). Her lip-gloss matches the buttons on her skirt (matching your accessories is really important!), but her sandals are a bit more red-toned because contrast is key. I made her eyeshadow and lipg-loss more than "plain" and "just a bit" because I know in my heart that the author didn't really even know what that meant.
