does anyone else remember that time where all the self proclaimed tumblr leftists got involved in a site-wide moral panic because people were making posts about shoplifting and it became the hot topic of the week and if you didn't believe that shoplifters were the embodiments of evil you would be accused of wanting retail workers to become homeless and starve to death. did anyone else experience that or was this all just a fever dream i had circa 2015

if you dont want print media to die, buy physical copies of things. if you don’t want independent journalism to die, subscribe to a local newspaper. if you want more libraries and skate-parks and arcades, get a bunch of friends and call in the individual charge of your village or town or whatever and ask for one to be built and use the existing ones. if you want more native flora and fauna, start looking at the ones that already exist and how to preserve them. this is your world too. fight for it. get rid of the rot of passivity.

i always loved your music. it sucks people online love the mob witch hunt bs so much. always hated that mindset. i never participated or stopped liking u but i was silent on it which isnt it either. people should be speaking out and defending victims of these situations tbh. a lot of people sanitize their real views for what pleases the online masses if they want any sort of support or fandom for their art/media/music... or just to avoid getting stalked and doxxed...it's the internet people should mind their own damn business and have fun. but yeah i think you're really epic and slay and one thing cool we have in common is massive plushie collections

I appreciate the sentiment you’re expressing to me here, and your empathy means a lot to me. but to be frank I’m really bored of reading and reacting to statements about what people should or shouldn’t be doing, especially on the internet, and I’m much more interested in just seeing people make things. I don’t want to talk about online morality politics horseshit anymore, I want to make a video game where little furry guys say the F word
