I don’t like that game changer has become synonymous with “ooh big crazy twist” and seemingly neither does Sam + the writers, so I’m glad there’s still some simpler episodes in this season where it’s just cute fun little games the whole time to remind people what the actual point of the show is

I enjoy the contrast between the og leverage running joke of "hardison dies in plan m" (but we never go there) and then redemption where they are just. killing harry at the drop of a hat.

Speaking of Brennan's insane yes and skills. I love how he sort of backwards constructs his NPCs off what his PCs do. We see this in WBN pretty much everywhere (Steel and the Citadel from Suvi, the Spirits from Eursulon, the rituals and connections from Ame).

Another great example right now is Wealwell. Like as Maxwell gets fleshed out (and as the plot and humor require) so does Wealwell. Like he's doing that internal character math so fuckin fast. Like if Maxwell reacts like this, what would his brother do, given Maxwell's perception of him, their family and his backstory and where do they have similarities and where do they have differences.

It's just fuckin great.
