I cannot put into words how much of a growing experience as an artist this story has been! It helped me push my creativity and motivated me to reach new goals! Most of all, it allowed me to meet the amazing @abbyz-elda and make so many priceless memories with her and my dear friend @/ aniastassya (IG)! @zeldaelmo also providing all of that pro feedback! We owe her a lot!

Every now and then the stars align to make the ideas that had next to no thought behind them look like cohesive well thought out plans.

Like yeah lets give one of the saddest Links some of my favorite little guys that I can reasonably justify still being alive. Then while watching botw cutscenes for reference, gets hit with that dialogue.

My last three brain cells are really bouncing around rn like:

Anytime I want to redraw any of my childhood art I have to face the fact that it's going to be my little pony. I am not exaggerating when I say that was all little me wanted to draw.

So have a doodle loosely based off of some human designs I did 13+ years ago. Are they accurate? No probably not, but I haven't seen the show in forever and only made it to around season 5 before the family turned off cable. Don't know why I didn't try to continue watching online, but I never did. I really should rewatch and finish the series...

Time for that good ole just screwing around with colors doodle. Currently in the "nothing looks right" section of the art improvement graph but also still have at least 6 oc refs to work on, so a quick Midna to shake things up.

Honestly this crappy AU has been eating away at me since it popped in my head yesterday. I am having a field day with this train of thought.

Botw Link wouldn't have to go it alone, but the trade off is he gets "help" from some of the most choatic possibly immortal creatures to ever grace the lands of hyrule.

Mr.Hero would basically be followed by skull kid, who is convinced that Linkie is the greatest thing they've seen in centuries, a traveling Midna would occasionally bump into him and try to offer advice until the kid chimes in with a oober destructive alternate plan that she is immediately on board with because it'd be way funnier. The only good advice he can get is from Fi's statistics, but he isn't strong enough to pull the master sword so he has to go out of his way to get those.

Like he would wake up to what he thinks is a chaotic nightmare, while not realizing that they are distracting him from the actual nightmare he could be living.

Crappy Botw AU where, instead of waking up alone, you wake up to a skull kid trying to rob you then get to meet up with old companions of heroes you once idolized. While you work to regain your memories you also learn from them that those heroes were FAR from perfect and its okay to be a person first hero second. Or in less sophisticated words, an AU where botw Link becomes and STAYS an absolute menace to society. Because lets be real Totk seemed to have him go right back to knight mentality and thats not what I want for him.
