Buddie: Buck can cook pretty well but Eddie is only allowed in the kitchen to make a very short list of things that he has been tested on his ability to cook properly and not burn/get made fun of by Chris for.

Madney: Can cook (in theory) but take out is always the best way to go in their book.

Apparently there was some kind of race scheduled at a local park or something so I've been trying to avoid the main trail but a little while ago when I had to cross near it I overheard the following shouted exchange

Hi, new post. Happy pride month.

We're two homeless trans women living out of a van that's breaking. The brakes squeal, and she doesn't want to put more money into it if she can avoid it. We got quoted 1800 for it from AAMCO; they were probably trying to squeeze us. Possibly just the pads need the most immediate replacing and not the whole brake x4, but yeah. Maybe that's 200, 250. Idk

Our current balances are:

Her mom sent her 1000 to try to help her get a new car. We've gotten 680 since my last donation post but food and gas apparently is where most of our money is going rn, in continuing to be homeless, and needing to dilate every day, after we both got bottom surgery last year, so the balances are what they are. I had to pay 50 to the storage shed. Etc.

She like, needs 500 to 1000 more to try to get anything halfway decent that's still going to inevitably be some 30 plus year old clunker shit.

She's scared to sell the van if we don't at least have something, anything else to even sit in prior. She's thinking of moving scrap w a truck because we continue to struggle to get anyone to hire us. And so on.

Anything helps.
