Farmer Gem and Scar!

I resisted every urge to open up stardew and play along with Scar and Gem's stream. It was so cozy to watch while drawing!

More hermit valley doodles!! Explanation under the cut

This time featuring a comic that made me laugh as a drew it at 11pm (dubbed in my head as ‘the reason Scar is only allowed to carry a fishing rod’) and Grian!!!! He plays the role of Willy in the au… sorta, he’s only 5 years older than Gem but when they first see each other at the start of the game he looks way older. Gem knew him as a kid, and while they’re not actually related they act a lot like siblings; and as Scar gets to know him better he learns why he fishes so much (as well as a love of treasure, he has issues with having enough food, and if he fishes then he can provide it) and gives him a makeover that generally makes Grian feel way better about himself, but he keeps the fish hook earring because ‘it looks neat’, if he was an actual character in the game I imagine his loved gifts would be books, the ones you can get from the bookseller and in various other places, as well as fish and weirdly enough eggs
