I’m VERY excited to show you the back cover of Speak Now (my version) including the vault tracks and collaborations with Hayley Williams from Paramore and Fall Out Boy. Since Speak Now was all about my songwriting, I decided to go to the artists who I feel influenced me most powerfully as a lyricist at that time and ask them to sing on the album. They’re so cool and generous for agreeing to support my version of Speak Now. Soñé que yo estaba es un lugar repleto de personas que no se daban cuenta que yo lloraba de desesperación y de repente llegaste tú con una sonrisa, me tomaste de la mano y me jalaste para abrazarme. Era un abrazo tan fuerte que se sentía tan real. Desperté con más lágrimas en los ojos que las que tenía en el sueño y por un momento sentí que tú seguías aquí y que la realidad era la pesadilla. Si estuvieras aquí tú entenderías lo que está pasando y lo que estoy sintiendo, escucharías mi berrinche, me cargarías hasta la troca y no me dejarías bajarme, sin importar el tiempo que pase, hasta que me riera a carcajadas. Te extraño todos los días a pesar del tiempo que ha pasado, y me da tanta rabia y tristeza el pensar que deberías estar aquí con tu familia, conmigo, cumpliendo todo lo que soñabas, disfrutando los pequeños momentos como siempre lo hacías y dándole una sonrisa a todo aquel que te torcía la cara.
