Been obsessing over this meta about whenever Matt's wearing black to be his "armor" as Daredevil is always when he's struggling with his faith the most from this post. And since now there are behind the scenes photos of Born Again Season 2 shooting process spreading everywhere, mostly of Charlie and Wilson all geared up in black DD and blue Bullseye costumes, arousing (heh) speculations of either they'll be throwing one last big showdown against each other, once and for all, or they'll be working together instead (i'm betting on the latter because of this - similar to those bts leaks of Matt and Frank working together in the end before Born Again Season 1 got released) to bring down Fisks. And you know what?

The black DD costume has cracks of red all over as the scene progressed:

The black paint most likely getting scraped off over and over and over from physical contacts in combat. They're jarringly blotchy, like wounds. Something Matt can't see but is sure going to use because he can feel them breaching his own physical capacities. You know how insane things are if the Devil gets cornered with fewer and fewer choices to the point of having to work along with someone who took his longlife partner and life support (Foggy), beaten to shit, he practically molts that his faith bleeds through?

Not to mention he's with someone as lost as Benjamin Poindexter as this is happening. Pretty sure Dex will be transfixed to the slow but inevitable transformation of the Devil no one could get rid off regardless there's a whole city belonging to him, to Matt, the same way Daredevil belongs to it, too. Unlike someone like Dex; a broken, ill man who's not accepted anywhere.
