farah giggled and watched the man mess with her patches until he had a little arrangement of his own. “if you like them so much i can just put them on a jacket for you,” she offered. they did look good together she’d admit, but it didn’t really fit the style of the band. she could see him wearing it, though. “i didn’t even think of that!” she gasped. “oh no, now i’ll have to go hunt some down...”

“Nonsense” Enzo said sitting up to get a closer look at all the patches “There’s so much you can do with all of these, endless possibilities in fact” He took a few in his hand as he started to rearrange them on the ground in front of him. “If you still don’t think you have enough, why don’t you add in buttons or pins or any small bits and pieces”

“is she moving in there?” farah asked, her eyes widening slightly. the whole idea of pregnancy made her a little uneasy. another little human inside of you? it was freaky to think about. “i don’t know...” she mumbled, biting her lip.

Ellie pulled away will a massive smile. “She did! Took her bloody time though! I was getting worried.” She told the girl. “It was definitely a shock, it’s really weird but so heartwarming. Wanna feel?”

“it looks adorable,” she agreed, even though his word choice wasn’t as appraising as hers. she had a way of exaggerating when she spoke anyway. “maybe you have a hidden talent you just don’t understand. you’re just so naturally gifted at fashion that you don’t realize you’re doing it. maybe we should put it to the test, ey?” she wagged her eyebrows. “c’mon, come sit down. you don’t have to stand there hovering, you’re tall enough as it is,” she invited. she had been growing a bit bored on her own, so a little company would definitely be welcome. her guilt about stopping him from returning after his workout was long gone. she also really did want to see if he had a natural inclination for fashion, her mind already whirring with fun little tests for him.

Cracking a small smile as soon as he noticed how visibly excited the other was about what she was working on, the male showed off a one-sided dimple. It was nice to him, being able to see people doing what they ( he assumed ) love — even if it was only something simple as deciding on little patches. “ It doesn’t look too bad I guess, no. “ He took the time the female was busy on arranging everything, to let his gaze wander over all the other things laying around and it quickly became clear to him that she was working on a denim jacket. When she spoke up to him again, he set her eyes back on here, letting out a subtle laugh. “ Thank you, though I pretty much just told you what I thought looked fine. Didn’t really had anything specific in mind for it. If I actually tried to make fashion happen, it would probably look horrible. “

“please, come join!” farah insisted as she patted a free spot on the blanket next to her. “i always appreciate a little company. and no, i’m not expecting any company. i’m out here all on my lonesome.” she plucked the cloud patch out of the group and lined it up on the jacket next to the bear. “what are you up to today?”

with her sons bothering some of the fellow tour members as her co-medics watched the pair, kara got some free time when she wasn’t working or slaving over the troublemaking blondes. ❝ the bear is so cute!! I also like the cloud a whole lot too. oh!!—hope you don’t mind me crashing your party!! you’re not expecting annoying else, right?❞

farah felt a pang of guilt when she noticed that the man she stopped was clearly on his way back from working out, and probably wanted to go shower and change. but he didn’t seem to mind, as he commented on a couple of other patches. “oh yes, that one’s cute too!” she said excitedly, swapping the one in her hand for the one he pointed out. it fit the theme more anyway, it was more feminine and mature. she couldn’t send her girls on stage looking like they were performing at a five year old’s birthday party. “cherries are cute too, and they kind of go with the lips blowing bubble gum.” she started arranging the patches he had pointed out with a few others, and suddenly things seemed to start to come together. she squealed happily and looked up to the man again. “you’ve got a real eye for fashion,” she complimented.

As usual when levi didn’t have anything to do - and the sun was shining as bright as it did on that day -, the boy decided to go on a run earlier. It wasn’t until about an hour later that he came back to the venue, a few wet stains on his shirt and his ear buds dangling around his neck after he pulled them out. The bassist was just on his way to his bus to get a bottle of water as he saw one of the stylists, that he knew worked with Ellie, sitting nearby, obviously working on something. He just wanted to say a short ‘hi’ and maybe ask her what she was doing, when the brunette already sat up, holding out different kind of patches and asking him to help her. Quickly looking over them, he cracked a small smile, nodding. “ It’s cute, yeah. Though I like the one with the roses more. It’s somewhat classic “, the blond said, pointing to them and shrugging shortly after. “ The cherries look pretty good as well. Depends on what you are going for though. “

“they are pretty,” farah agreed. she didn’t have many patches that were just solid colors, but the ones she did have would make good accent pieces. “i really should have picked up some more before i started this, i feel like i don’t have enough...” there were probably at least fifty patches spread out in front of her, but she could never have enough crafting supplies.

There wasn’t anything that was necessarily motivating Enzo today, so he decided to roam around, looking for something to spark his interest. He stopped immediately at the question, plopping himself down next her. “I like the ones that are only one color. Especially the bright colors. They all just look so good together”

farah was steaming a couple of dresses for the next show, completely in her own world. when ellie burst into the room excitedly farah had to quickly shut off the machine so she didn’t burn the other girl as she pulled farah into a hug. “she kicked?” farah repeated, her eyes widening as she looked down at ellie’s stomach. “did it hurt? does it feel weird?”

As quickly as she could, Ellie made her way into the next room, her face was one of absolute joy. “She kicked!” She said excitedly. The blonde walked over and hugged the other, too happy to even care if they wanted a hug or not. “You don’t even understand how long i’ve been waiting for this!”

“i guess,” farah replied with a shrug. “it’s just so cute, i feel like i’m letting it down.” the brunette perked when she saw how excited the other girl got over the patch she had selected. “i was going to give this to one of the girls, but i guess i can make them another one,” farah decided. “just don’t let them know i’m slacking off and giving this to you,” she added with a wink. now that the jacket was for the other girl, she wasn’t too sure about the fit. “do you want to try it on first? if it’s too big i can save the patches you like and find a better jacket for you.”

kim’s eyebrows knitted together as she saw the girl pouting at the teddy bear patch. “ do you get sad that easily or what ?? ” she queried as she sat down in front of the other. “i know, right ?? skulls are great.” kim said as she watched farah sort through the different patches she had. kim’s eyes brightened when she saw the middle finger patch. “ holy shit. that’s is perfect. okay, i gotta say this but when you’re done with that, could i have it?? ”

farah pouted, looking down at the smiling teddy in her hand. it was pretty childish, so she set it down and picked up the one the other girl had indicated. “it is pretty punk,” she agreed. she started shifting through the other patches, plucking out other designs that would go along with it. “i quite like this one,” she hummed, holding up a patch with a middle finger emblazoned on it. “would you like to join me? i have snacks around here somewhere...”

soundcheck was a pain. apparently, their manager was too rough on her because she caused another ruckus backstage as they were trying out the visual effects. as a result, she was roasted all throughout their session. the short break is what she needed to let off some steam. as she went out, kim saw a girl stitching up a jacket so she decided to approach her. “a bear ?? the skull one is more punk rock.”

the weather was too nice to not take advantage of, so farah grabbed her current project and a blanket then moved outside. she laid out in a grassy area by the buses and started pulling out her tools. she was working on decaling a jean jacket, so with a needle and her assorted bag of patches she began her work. she saw someone approaching so she sat up, a bright grin on her face. “Hey, could you help me pick another one out?” She pulled more patches out of her little bag and held them out. “I like the one with the bear on it.”
