Well, goodbye friends.

I wanted to have a long message typed up for you all--maybe a poem to go with it--but I never managed to get the time for that. I would stay up later tonight but I have work tomorrow and barely enough energy to get through it at the moment.

I love you, I'll miss you all (even those with whom I have exchanged email addresses, though I will be writing you soon ^_^). Tumblr has been good for me for a long time. I don't know how I would have gotten through the past few years without you guys.

I’ve been debating a long time on how best to say this, but… here goes.

I’m probably going to be leaving tumblr soon. Which is heartbreaking, because my friends are here and I love you guys so so much, but I feel like it’s something I need to do. I’m staying until Easter, or until Easter Monday, but then I’m going.

Anyway what I really want to say is: you guys are amazing, you’ve all made my life so much better and brighter, and I don’t want to lose touch with you, so if anyone wants my email I am more than willing to give it over DM. But I also understand if anyone’s uncomfortable sharing their email/emailing me, so it’s totally up to you.

Rudi got to be part of some experimental archeology today! Testing if this large comb found in the Oseberg viking grave could have been a horse brush/comb! It was super interesting to see how well it actually worked on her shedding winter coat.

(This one was a beautiful replica made by Knut Roger Brekke, not the real one obviously)
