Last Friday we had to let Myrtle go. She was suffering from liver and kidney failure. She went peacefully and without any pain, she was just so weak. I missed her more than I can say.

We decided soon after to get another ferret because Pan was so painfully lonely and I can’t think of a better way to honour Myrtle’s memory than to take in another baby who needs a home.

Her name is Juniper, shes just over 3 months old and she’s the naughtiest little thing. I love her already.
