CAN I GET A BEST FRIENDS TO LOVERS PLOT ?? like not even an instant one, but like one with the gradual build up. like MUSE A comes to them after a fight with their significant. MUSE B knocks on their window after a horrible date. no one gets me like you. inside jokes no one understand. maybe even a secret handshake ?? just chemistry so strong it melts your heart. so innocent & pure. bonus points if people used to say they’d get married one day and they both laughed at the idea. but here they are. laughing about what their lives have become. how at the end of the day they’ve always had each other. and now they can’t help but wonder.

You know what? It’s kinda growing on me.

bucky who can’t quite seem to get over the fact he can pick up mjolnir even though it’s been a good three months since the first time he accidentally plucked it from the ground in avenger’s tower. the hammer itself always seems to be in the most random of places and bucky will walk over to it whenever the opportunity comes along and look around to make sure no one is watching before picking it up again as it expecting one day that he won’t be able to lift it again. except every time it comes off the ground without hesitation and he grins like an absolute idiot because it means more to him than it probably should just that mjolnir deems him worthy at all so that must mean there’s something good about him, right?

and of course tony eventually asks why thor leaves his hammer just sitting around the place and thor simply smiles and says, “because it helps where i cannot.”

and nobody knows exactly what he means by that

★  𝚌𝚘𝚗𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚞𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗  ⁞  @steve-grantt-rogers.           it's  clear  the  cinematic  experience  has  DRASTICALLY  SHIFTED  since  '30s  &  '40s.    what  dark  films  lacked  in  performative  skill  &  special  effects  they  would  make  up  for  in  innocence  ;  left  to  imaginations  of  engrossed  spectators.    NOW???    imagination  is  seldom  required.    gore  for  the  sake  of  gore.    explicit  acts  of  torture.    alarming  &  sickening  story-lines  proporting  to  be  ART.    for  obvious  reasons  bucky  does  not  derive  entertainment  from  graphic  depictions  of  brutality    ——————    hence   alternatively  suggested  a  film  of  the  paranormal  persuasion.

          ——————    AND  STILL  STEVE  SEEKS  SECURE  REFUGE  IN  THE  CROOK  OF  HIS  ARM,  JUST  LIKE  THE  OLD  DAYS.    some  things  never  change.    it  proves  a   comfort   to  the  soldier  ;  evidenced  in  the  warmth  of  his  stare  &  rising  curl  of  lips.    ❛    ..............  you  gotta  be  kidding  me.    you've  fought  ALIENS,  steve.    tryin’  ta  tell  me  this  is  th’thing  that  gives  ya  the  heebie-jeebies?    ❜
