“You have not, but I can imagine.” A smile spreads over his lips, head bowed. Cute was a simplistic word, one he normally wouldn’t use to describe himself, but when Katerina said it? It brings a pink coloring to already rosey cheeks, a skip in heart beat. Truly smitten and, honestly, he couldn’t be happier. “Extra happy, you say?” Smile widening, fingers squeezing. There’s a playful glint to his eyes as he pretends to think it over, head tilting slightly. “In that case, I’ll do my best to remain cute at all times. But in return I will need you to be just as, if not more, adorable and always be happy.”

                               ♕ ;  ❝ oh my goodness... more adorable? that is... i will do my very hardest to accomplish this, but you have to promise not to be upset if i can not deliver! ❞ the warmth of his hand in hers made her feel relaxed, face lighting up at the simple affection of hand holding-- it really didn’t take much for katerina to be happy when Kaz was involved. ❝ though, if you want me to always be happy, i find that kisses will always put a smile on my face. ❞ her grin widened, a giggle bubbling up in her throat as she idly twisted her hips, skirt flowing about her hips with the movement.

But hearing her say it meant that much more, made him that much more red in the face, appreciative. “Out-cute-ing me is a nearly impossible task, none have been able to do it before. But you? i know i just kinda disappeared, and i apologize for that– but i needed to just take a step back. i’m still dealing with pain, and the incisions aren’t healing as fast as i’d hoped. i’m struggling a lot with my depression as of late and i’m just trying to make more time for myself. if you need to reach me, feel free to try and get in touch via the ims or on discord if you’ve got me, but i can’t promise immediate reply. I know I owe a few replies on here, and i hope in the coming days i can queue those up, but i do believe my activity on here will be minimal until i can get myself back under check. thanks to those have stuck with me through all this, and i apologize to those i’ve upset with my sudden disappearance.

He hadn’t watched the bottles as he usually did, instead he kept his eye on the rings leaving her hand, soft, subtle smile on his lips as he simply watched her throw. The telltale clink of ring smoothly sliding down the neck of a bottle elicited an enthusiastic round of applause from the Brit, “Wahey! First of th’ day, you are. Means ya get t’ choose whatever ya want. Plenty t’ choose from.” He’d usually ask more of his patrons, but it had been a long day, and seeing genuine happiness on the woman’s face had been enough to break his admittedly weak resolve. “Got yer teddy bears, stupid hats, t-shirts…” His arm waved to gesture at the paltry selection of prizes hanging along the frame of the tent. 

                               ♕ ;  maybe this would mean good things for the rest of her day, but she wasn’t really holding out hope. ❝ can i have the teddy bear? ❞ she was honestly a child at hear, teeth biting down on her bottom lip as she reached out excitedly for the stuffed bear. she’d had an army of these things as a child, and seeing something like this brought her back to those innocently happy times. ❝ how long have you been doing this? ❞ once the bear is delivered, she hugs it to her chest. making conversation? why not. she’s admittedly a bit lonely, and this guy seems nice enough.

Maybe i’ll take some time off and travel with you for those shows. i don’t have school for another month, but i can take some time off work. ❞ when she spotted that infamous scowl of pete’s, her smile brightened and she waved, dragging trent along quickly to reach his friends. ❝ hello boys! Thanks for having me out tonight. ❞ trent and pete were like her brothers at this point, she adored them.
