[user grimaces at her screen] Why would anyone think that? That's a bit [...] anyway. You were never my boss. Therefor, you were never fired, because you were never hired. Why don't you understand this?
Love is for the weak willed, clearly. I'm sure there are some aspects about you that are strong, but overall, love will deteriorate you over time. [user looks towards Gen] There will be one day she does not, I'm sure. Be sure not to lose yourself when that happens, whether it's her being lost in a shop or otherwise.
You are! Please continue to press more buttons, you're super nice to talk to. Idk, gal. The same people who thought you needed a subscription to be able to use them. I love them dearly, but I could never get them to understand. Did you just fire me from being your boss? :( It was my first day! They have? Wowow, what a bunch of bigots :( They're the real love story in all those movies.
Wait. What loss? You think I'm gonna lose her? She does tend to get away from me when she spots a dead a really good deal at the shop, but that's like, temporary. She always comes back to me. Shrek is forever, and don't you forget it!

I do not feel gooey when I think of the past. Though, I suppose my insides are already gooey, as are yours. Shrek, absolutely does not make me gooey. I feel sorry for you if he does that for you.
Well, to some the point is profit. To most, I guess it's that gooey feeling you get inside. It's why Shrek is popular as ever.

I don't understand the obsession humans people have with going 'back in time,' as nothing will ever be the same as it once was. It's a little pathetic.
Oh, they are all quite good! I like the store! I was just listing movies, sorry if that was confusing!! It is very cool that we still have a legit video store because according to the internet, those are like, way retro vibes.

If you're dead and you're still here, then there's been a mistake. [user pointedly looks at Gen who's in the corner of her room] At least you're catching on. Some would continue to argue.
I don't know. Somewhere else, maybe. Or still here, in some way. [user stares at his phone for a while.] I guess you're right. Dead things shouldn't stay behind. World is for the living.

I don't quite understand what's fun about that, but [....] this town is strange, and continues to showcase why it would believe Shrek is 'love,' as you put it.
People say "Shrek is Love Shrek is Life" as a joke because Shrek is not love nor life. It's just a bit of fun.
Huh. I don't think their media comprehension is great.

Where would you go? [user is actively ignoring Gen] There's nothing left, once you're dead. This is the story, isn't it? Staying behind would be perverse.
You think you go nowhere? The parts that make you you?

You become nothing when you die, as intended.
You can change your name, but it does not change who you are. Death does, though. But I don't think you get to choose what you become after. I would not have chosen this.

I suppose you could legally change your name. This is a way of changing yourself. I also suppose that in death, you become something else. Food for the worms, or something missed. You choose.
Well, people are stupid, then. You can't become someone else. Something else, sure, but I don't rec-

The ogre did it, and I suppose people wanted to become Fiona.
[user considers this. is he kink shaming stranger's on shrek's internet?] Yes. They should stop trying to fuck dragons.

I'm pressing the buttons on my keyboard, that is correct. Who would not know how to send emojis? I at least know how to do this. I am not doing any kind of jig. You were never my boss. At least you are not opposed to this. It seems like there are a lot of people who think this is incorrect.
I am sorry for your loss, then. Love comes and goes. Apparently Shrek is forever, as I've been told.
Wow, I almost forgot what it felt like to talk to people who actually know what buttons to press. Sometimes you can get away with so much when most of your friends barely know how to send emojis. That's very sweet of you, but I guess you're right, the jig is up. I was never your boss. Exactly, we should be manmading better stuff, like yummy food and fun art. It's coming soon! [user rereads the last sentences a few times, and you know what, hell yeah] As many times as they need to learn the lesson that they're better together <3
Excellent! I'm eager to find never before seen gems. Hold up, I'm not lonely. I happen to be disgustingly in love. But I would never turn down seeing more love on screen.

Just because you do not want it does not mean that others do not. Are you kink shaming strangers on [user recalls joke made to her by another] Shrek's internet?
I would not believe it, because I do not know what that is. Why do people [...] want that?

Nostalgia is pointless. Everything comes to an end. What's the point in going back to what has since passed?
Maybe! They definitely seem a little behind the times here. Probably because of all the vampires. I would never be one of those vampires that gets stuck in my era of death. Nostalgia is hot anyway. People make bank on it. I underestimated the power of a video vault.

Where was the joke...? This was a joke. My tongue is against my cheek.
The pixies people who come in after renting it.
That is an idiom. My tongue is in the normal place! When people say something is tongue in cheek, they mean that it is a joke.
Told countless times by whom? I think someone is [del: pulling your leg] having fun with you.

The human was also an ogre. There are plenty of other films and books on the idea that dragons and humans can have children together, though I suppose those are for a niche audience, and not something I'm too privy too. You wouldn't believe the amount of individuals coming for Dragon Lair Boys.
An ogre man who marries a donkey, I believe. A dragon marries a woman who was once a human, and they have... children, if I remember correctly. The donkey and the Shrek exist together in harmony, and there is something about a boulder.
It also has talking cookies.

I do not believe that he needs to worry about bankruptcy. Many people in Wicked's Rest seem to find enjoyment in the vintage lifestyle. I believe this is because life is continuously passing you by, and so humans people often look to things in the past that made them think they were worth something.
Metaphorically extinct, not literally. Duh. A storefront can be taken down after the store went bankrupt, which I assumed had happened to all of them. But I'm glad they're not!
[.......] Fine. I'll rent a DVD, just for the sticker. You drive a hard bargain.

A Shrek rave...? What in the hell is that? I have been called a freak plenty of times, though I have never once stepped foot into a Shrek Rave. It must not have all of the freaks.
This is what I've heard, so I'm not certain the validity of the claims, but I'm inclined to believe it, only because if I were named Marvin, I too, would take down a whole ship.
Oh man, you're missin' out. You ever been to a Shrek rave? It's full of absolute freaks, it's amazing. Maybe it'll show up here. But yeah, you can skip out on the 3rd and 4th, just trash 'em on sight.
Yeah, fair, Titanic's kind of a disaster. Wait, the iceberg had a name? And it was Marvin? No wonder it took out the fuckin' thing, I'd sink a ship too if that was my name. How'd you learn about Marvin?
