Project1: logo analysis ((Mercedes))
This logo belongs to the German car company Mercedes, as it is one of the most famous German car brands specializing in the production of luxury and elegant cars. The meaning of this logo goes back to the name of the Austrian entrepreneur Emil Jelinek, who contributed greatly. However, in this logo, we find that the designers of the Mercedes logo have innovatively used each side of that star to express the Mercedes car and its penetration into all means of transportation in terms of its engines It is used on both land, sea and air transportation. As for the color, it is dominated by silver. In this logo, there is the principle of balance, contrast, repetition, and form.

Project1: logo analysis ((amazon))
This logo is affiliated with Amazon, as it is one of the electronic commerce sites, which was founded on July 5, 1994, by Jeff Lindo and is in Washington. However, the Amazon logo is considered one of the best logos. The idea in designing the logo is a smile, but it was not just a smile, but an arrow in the sense of selling. From a to z, the company sells all products from A to Z. In its beginnings, it was just a small library that sold books only, and then the logo developed, and sales diversified. The orange color symbolizes the meaning of diversity in goods and products. This logo is liked by everyone in terms of simplicity and distinction.

Project1: ad analysis for iPhone.
This ad is affiliated with Apple Inc
The designer placed the phone in the middle with a little water to prove the quality of the phone ((waterproof)). This indicates the principle of balance and proportionality. As for the background, he designed it in black and the phone in white, creating the principle of contrast as it gave more attractiveness to the customer.

Project1: ad analysis burger.
This ad is for a burger restaurant
The ad designer placed the burger in the middle of the page, in addition to the pieces of meat on the right side and cheese on the left side to create a balance and unity in the design, however, the background color in it is a combination of colors from white (smoke) and dark brown with the gray color in addition to the color Fire and orange, it makes the viewer feel hungry. In my opinion, it is good because it is harmonious in terms of colors and the overlapping of the burger parts.

Project 1: detailed critical coverage of exhibitions or events
((virtual art exhibition)) Basel art
This gallery enables you to move between the galleries in the gallery and see the artists' works very clearly through your device. This step is very impressive in my opinion because it made it easier for many participants and those familiar with the paintings to come to the virtual exhibition due to the Corona pandemic around the world, they resorted to a technological solution to try for the losses they incurred. This is the latest unexpected result, and it has achieved relatively large profits. One of the most prominent annual events in arts and design are wealthy people who travel by private planes to participate in the exhibition.
The exhibition is held annually from June until September in Basel in Switzerland. During the pandemic period, the Art Basel exhibition is held annually in three copies in Switzerland, Hong Kong, and Miami.

Project 1: lecture 2
Tim Brown is a Native American expert, consultant, and speaker on industrial design and design thinking, and he is the Executive Chairman of the International Design Consulting Company, Francisco.
This lecture is entitled ((Designers Think Big)). It also talks about the design profession as it plays a greater role than just creating small, elegant, and modern things. And he calls for local, collaborative, and participatory design thinking, starting with the example of the design thinker in the century talking about the works that he works on like a fax machine. Isambard Kingdom Brunel, who designed the railways, in addition to constructing huge airfields in the river valleys and long tunnels under the river at Alliance, also developed an integrated transport system. However, in the design, the balance between desire and human need and between technical and economic feasibility must be considered, in addition to using computer-aided design techniques, the conclusion is that the design has a great impact when it reaches the hands of the designers to the hands of everyone.
In conclusion, he talked about design thinking that encourages us to adopt a saturated methodology to explore new options and solutions that did not exist before.

Project 1: lecture1
Paola Antolini is an Italian art historian and architect, as well as a Curator of Design at MOMA. She works on designs in exhibitions of design and architecture at the Museum of Modern Art. The groundbreaking show is full of products and designs that reflect the way we think about it now. Good designers are like sponges. They are curious to know. They absorb all kinds of information that comes their way and transform it so that people like us can use it. However, she presents a general idea of her upcoming work ((Design and the Rubber Mind)), focusing on science and technology. Technology appears on the scene when a design is involved. Designers are great at the latest mutations that have modified it so that we can use it. They work on the obstacles and obstacles that occur to them. It also talks about science and design and the integration between them, the relationship between them for many centuries from Leonardo da Vinci to the Renaissance, men, and women. The designers renewed their interest and passion. After the lecture, she said that designers do not only work on life, even as they take new technology into account, and most designers started working on the idea of mourning and death.

Project 1: detailed coverage of the interview
((interview 2 with Paula Scher))
You generally talk about failure and success and the benefits of being unqualified for a job. The sentence that Paula repeats is to be successful without failures and obstacles that lead to failure. Success leads to repetition. But failure wakes you up and makes you change your invention in projects. It explains that when you make a huge mistake you wish to be ignorant to avoid the situation. In addition to accomplishing approximately one hundred and fifty songs a year, she never expected to become a designer of buildings, design huge global identities, or paint. However, designers must grow in design meaning that the design is renewed every time he works on another project. And in conclusion, you talk about growth and change over time, and you should not look for the best and ideal way to change yourself and you will be outside the scope of work, as it is not true for designers only, but for everyone.

Project 1: detailed coverage of the interview
((interview 1 with David Carson))
He initially talks about printing in the modern era and the change that takes place in the creative process, and sometimes it does not contain creative templates, but it tells you how to overcome it.
Second, the brands he made. However, he talks about the creative process that comes to him through the client, in addition to providing advice on creativity and how to overcome obstacles and failures that occur to the designer, and in conclusion, he talks about how to deal with the client in freedom of design and for a good job it is a hobby.

Assignment 6
In this assignment, we were asked to make a group of two students, and we must choose two principles of design, and each one of us designed that demonstrates the principle we choose.
I chose the principle of "equilibrium" and tried to find a good idea that reflects the principle. I decided to draw a computer with Photoshop and Illustrator in it because of their frequent use in this course. These two programs are very important for designers in the world, so I created the principle of pivotal balance in design.

Assignment 5: logo redesign
In this assignment, we must find an existing logo the redesign it. Also, we need to analyze and criticize it.
Analysis and criticism of the previous logo. It is an old noodles logo in normal font. It has only a cooking pan and noodles on top of it, as it is in yellow, red, white, and black. As for the new logo, it is in orange, tilted to yellow and black, this color when we see it we feel very hungry, it attracts Our customers, in addition to the lines drawn in the letters, they are pieces of noodles about one letter, and for the two letters “O”, I made them like eyes covered with noodles to attract customers, as they resemble a smiling face and at the top is an indication of the temperature of the noodles (steam), so I designed it according to the generation, The logo was made simple to be more attractive.
