My lukewarm feedist take is every feeder should know how to cook (I mean, everyone should know how to cook period), but like cook well. Know what your feedee likes and what they don't like, try new stuff, do what the feedee wants. Idk. Idk. I was in therapy today and we were talking about pleasure and hedonism, between non-sexual pleasure and sexual pleasure, and it brought me back to when I was in Italy and the best parts of the trip there was all of the food. Unironically, it made me fall in love with the country

The way some people react to feedists actually kinda reminds me of how straight people sometimes react to their friends coming out as gay

The assumption that "if you're attracted to women you must be sexualising ME", "if you're attracted to me you must be sexualising ME" basically translating to "if you're attracted to fat people you must be sexualising ME for being fat"

And that's just not the case? Personally speaking, while I find fat bodies attractive, I'm only actively sexualising the people who are putting themselves out there TO BE SEXUALISED BECAUSE THEY ENJOY IT and if I were dating a fat person, it's a conversation I'd had with them to make sure we both felt comfortable and understood

Reflections after a decade of dating as an ffa

There are like, 5 (ok 6) universal truths I have learned as an ffa/feedist over the years:

Throw other ppls opinions in the garbage//also no one cares if you date very fat ppl and if they do care they probably don’t deserve to be in your life

There are so many cool hot fat ppl in the world. Don’t settle for that one really hot really fat dude who has shitty politics and hates women. There are lots of really hot fat dudes who have good politics and are committed to unpacking misogyny (don’t let dudes treat you like shit just because they weigh 600 lbs @@@@@@ me all through my 20’s)

Find really good friends who are also feedists because they are the ones who truly know what’s up

Be comfortable being alone and being by yourself. Finding partners who are into this kink and share your interests is really fucking hard and rare but worth it. But in order to get here ya gotta be real good with being by yourself and at peace with yourself

Unlearn anti fat bias but also (!!!) don’t let the mainstream, pearl clutching, morality obsessed fat lib movement make you feel like you are broken for being a feedist
