Beauty is terror. Whatever we find beautiful, we quiver before it. Death is the mother of beauty. She swallows her own progeny, destroying what she gave birth to. That's how the world works, dorian. Beauty is transient, eventually consumed by death. To stay immortal is to terrorize others with your beauty and charm. To stay immortal is to terrorise, to give into your desires till they consume you, to commit the sins the world shames you for. To stay immortal is to conquer death.
All art is quite useless, my dear Basil. You know why? Because all art is a form of confession. To confess is to undress. It is baring your soul to the cruel, prying eyes of the world. The brush that used to paint the hues of rainbow is now tainted with red.

Why live life fully when you can curate an existence that looks good on social media?
Why worry about aging? I can just filter my selfies until I look like I’m 25 forever.

It sounds like you're questioning my knowledge, my dear Basil. They indeed are called violet martins. Your sketch has portrayed them splendidly.

@faustianbargainss and i went on a walk at the park today. i sketched a few birds i saw. Harry tells me they're called 'Violet Martins'.

Love is an abstract concept. To define love is to give shape to water. However, that's the very nature of love, it bends according the wishes of the soul. To detain love, to fit it inside the societal hetronormative box is to lose the very essence and spirit of it.
Love is for the daring. The ones who are not afraid of taking the extra step, the sacrifices, the war, the bloodshed. Love is a violent act. It is grief’s mother. Grief is the receipt received when love fulfils its duty.
"To define is to limit."

You will always be fond of me. I represent to you all the sins you never had the courage to commit.
@speculumwept, the burnt child always loves the fire.

Adult life is mostly a grey zone. The distinction between right and wrong is often either blurred or is a fine line. The thing is, we can't spend the rest of our lives worrying about how others view our rights because what might feel right to us might not feel right to someone else. We are all broken in our own ways, aren't we? So, they have no audacity in telling us how we decide to heal something which they broke.

Hello! We are Titas [@shadowsnblood] and Bhagya. This blog is part of a university assignment. It will basically be from the POV of Lord Henry Wotton, the antagonist of Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray, in the current timeframe. We also have two other blogs, [@speculumwept for Dorian Gray and @adoristoile for Basil Hallward] for the other primary characters. We'll be posting original content on all three blogs, just from the character's perspectives. We hope our work will be interesting, and your engagement would be very helpful for our assignment.
Thank youu <3
