What will we talk about after seeing it? After the films of 2010 and 2014, the third part of the saga arrives, although Dreamworks guarantees that it is the last. Let's hope it is like that. Only for fans.
What is it? A production of the BBC that tells the story of the legendary comic duo El Gordo and El Flaco, who from the silent film era to the 40s made millions of people laugh on the big screen. The 'biopic' focuses, however, on what could have been the grand finale of his career, a tour of British theaters after World War II.
When will it debut? The 8th of March.
Who goes out? John Coogan ('Night in the Museum 2') plays the English Stan Laurel ('The Skinny'), while John C. Reilly ('Langosta') makes the American Oliver Hardy ('The Fat').
What will we talk about after seeing it? Of if it manages to return to the comic duo the place that it deserves in the history of the cinema. Whether the film points to Oscar or if it merely remains the correct product of the BBC. If he manages to discover the Fat and Skinny to new generations of moviegoers.
What is it? Set in the 1990s, it tells how Carol Danvers becomes one of the most powerful heroines in the universe when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races.
When will it debut? The 8th of March.
Who goes out? Brie Larson, Jude Law, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Gemma Chan, Lee Pace, Annette Benning, Djimon Hounsou.
What will we talk about after seeing it? Of the absurd controversy of whether the superheroes smile or not. From Brie Larson as a newcomer to the Marvel Universe, better than Evangeline Lilly? If it's the best Marvel movie of the year, with permission from the next part of the Avengers. Of the pleasant thing that it is to return to see in the cinema to that another actor of which for some time we did not see his face in a movie 'mainstream', as it is the case of Annette Benning and Djimon Hounsou.
What is it? To an octogenarian and World War II veteran who is bankrupt and faces foreclosure of his business, he is offered a seemingly easy job: driving. But, unknowingly, he becomes a drug dealer for a Mexican cartel, and happens to be under the radar of a DEA agent.
When will it debut? The 8th of March.
Who goes out? Clint Eastwood, Bradley Cooper, Michael Peña, Taissa Farmiga, Laurence Fishburne, Alison Eastwood, Dianne Wiest
What will we talk about after seeing it? Why he always decides to go back even though he always says he retires. Of if it is certain that it could rise with several Oscars.
What is it? Based on 'My Precious Son', the bestseller of the memories of David and Nick Sheff, father and son, tells the heartbreaking and inspiring story of survival, relapse and recovery of a family that dealt with drug addiction for many years.
When will it debut? March 15th.
Who goes out? Timothée Chalamet ('Call me by your me'), Steve Carell ('The Vice of Power'), Maura Tierney ('The Affair') and Amy Ryan ('The Bridge of Spies').
What will we talk about after seeing it? Of the posters of Carell and Chalamet, who are hooking movies after movies on the big screen. That the movie has a 'punch'. That, if there is something that fails, however, in the plot, is that it can be a bit repetitive: could not the drug issue have been approached from a somewhat less hackneyed point of view?
