It was on my desk this morning and I thought it’s some kind of ‘thank you for existing’ gift,” Ezra rambled, while still taking next bites of the pretzel.

“Oh uh– yeah it’s just a few doodles, no big deal,” Winnie shrugged lightly after being called out. She had several books open around her but the one she was supposed to be writing notes in was instead filled with various little sketches. “I’m still studying, I swear,” she added quickly as if the other would care, despite that statement being totally false.

"I do think they look amazing,” Mavi quickly said, not wanting the blonde to think that she was judging her. “Doodles actually help me study, but mine are nothing in comparison to what you’ve done,” she pointed at a few.

“The fact that the monarchies in the Otherworld still have the prince as the first in line of succession regardless of if he was born after the princess is complete and utter bullshit,” Lottie huffed. “What is it with people thinking women aren’t capable of ruling realms? I sure as hell would be better than half the kings in this place.” 

Phoebe narrowed her eyes when she heard the blonde’s comments. She thought that her brother would be an amazing king and there was no in the entire universe who could convince her otherwise. “I love when someone who is not a part of a royal family makes a comment on such matters. I wouldn’t expect you to understand our traditions,” she gave the other a fake smile.

“Do you think it’s too soon for us to take a break?” Jasmine asked the other, closing the book she had been studying without waiting for the other to answer- she had been rereading the same paragraph for the last twenty minutes and had been looking for any excuse to grab a quick break. “I’ve been thinking about getting a cup of tea, would you want one?” 

Freya had been distracted for the past twenty minutes, so she welcomed the interruption. “I think it’s been an hour already, so I’m pretty much done for the day,” she admitted. “Tea sounds nice though,” she added, finding herself wanting a cup.

phoebe & harvey​:

“Yes, yes of course,” he nodded in a seemingly attentive manner, waiting until the person left before he turned to who was next to him. “You were totally listening right? Because I didn’t get any of that,” Harvey admitted.

Phoebe blinked in surprise. It took her a moment to realise that the other was talking to her and not to someone else. “Oh no, don’t look at me. I don’t really know why we’re even here,” she shrugged, smiling as if nothing happened.

“I have a conspiracy theory,” Simona announced, barely waiting for the other’s reaction before they started talking again, “I think all the teachers have meetings just so they can plan to have tests and assignments due all on the same day. Seriously, I have three assignments due tomorrow and a test the next day. I think I’m onto something here, what do you think? How many do you have?” 

"Oh I definitely agree. I think they’re trying to give us a nervous breakdown thinking that’s going to help us later in life. What if I break now though and there’s nothing to pick up for later?” Freya sighed and shook her head. Of course she was not one to give up, but she was aware that for some the intensity of everything was a bit too much.

“Oh no, don’t get me wrong– I’m very excited for spring. But I will absolutely miss the hot chocolate weather. I mean come on, mini marshmallows!” Audrey mused to the other before taking another sip of her beverage. She set it down before speaking again, “What did you get? Hot chocolate as well or something else?”

Mavi chuckled and nodded her head in agreement. “I think for me it’s the sweater weather that I’m going to miss. Sure, you can wear them anytime, but the feeling simply hits you differently when you’re wearing something cozy and it’s snowing outside,” she said wistfully. Since moving to Dyamond, Mavi’s wardrobe mostly consisted of warmer clothing so she always had an amazing collection of sweaters to choose from while at school. “I got coffee with extra whipped cream and caramel drizzle. Need some caffeine to get me through the day.”

James is sitting on a bench in town near the lake, he was reading but he was yet again distracted by the picture of his family he uses as a bookmark. He jumped when the other spoke. “Sorry, what did you say? I was a bit distracted.”

Phoebe look at the other with raised eyebrows. “I haven’t said anything,” she shook her head. “Perhaps you heard me slurping instead?” She then suggested.

It had been Isabella’s lunch period and she wasn’t very hungry, so it was no surprise to find the other by the lake, especially since it’s normally where she went either when she was bored or needed a place to think. Pausing, the brunette noticed the other’s presence behind her and chuckled, thinking she was alone. “You coming in or what?” She asked the other, already beginning to undress.

Freya raised an eyebrow and then shook her head. “I hoped this place is going to be quiet at this time of the day, but it looks I was wrong,” she said with a sigh. She needed a moment to herself and being away from the people seemed like the best thing to do. Maybe if she sat nearby and focused on her own stuff, then she would be able to ignore any noises.

“Hey- Don’t just sit there and judge me.” Charlotte spoke up before spooning another bit of ice cream into her mouth. “I’m hungry and stressed. Ice cream is the only thing that can fix that kind of combination. Did you want some? It’s triple chocolate.” 

"I’m good, but thanks. I don’t think I would be able to sleep after eating so much sugar, but do enjoy. It sounds like this is something you definitely need,” she gave the blonde a little smile.

“Math is very helpful,” Silas defended. “Plus, it’s an easy A.” He shrugged as a second response. “Do you not take extra curricular classes?”

"They have nothing to do with becoming a better fairy so no, I don’t. I would much rather spend my time taking advanced classes in magic than anything else,” Freya said with a shrug.

“What’s the running total right now, I lost track after twelve.” Eren commented, tapping his chin as though he was deep in thought in trying to think of he exact number. “I’ve been told my face looks too smug, I ell them that it’s not smugness, it’s handsomeness and they’re simply jealous. They normally tell me to fuck off then. So maybe, you’re right.” He considered, knowing hat he could be a lot most of the time, but it would be out of character for him to dial it back. He in fact wasn’t even sure if he could dial it back. “You’re in the group? My own sister? What, did they offer you like a matching jacket or something and you were sold?”

"I don’t think one is able to keep count,” she said without hesitation. She loved her brother dearly, but the majority thought he was simply a lot. He was charming, yes, but at times even that couldn’t save him. Mavi felt very protective of him, but even she had to admit that being in Eren’s presence was not for everyone. “Oh sweetie, have I ever followed someone? I am clearly the leader of the group,” she smirked. “So you know, you better be in my good books or else one day you may simply not wake up.”
