Lately..

Wow, I have not actually been on my own blog in forever. So many things have changed with my life in the last few months and things are looking up for me finally. I got into a double degree in Nursing and Midwifery at uni, I've gotten a job in childcare, I've had a relationship end and I got a fish to keep me company during semester while I'm living a few hours away from my family. I've lost almost 12kgs and I'm so so proud of myself for this and I'm now more than halfway to my goal of 20kg. I aim to reach this by the end of the year but I am sure that those last 8kg or so will be gone in the next couple of months. I'm finding it difficult to live so far away from my family this year, it's a lot more lonely even though I'm surrounded by more people who care about me than I was last year. I miss my mum and dad and I miss my cat Chino so much that it actually hurts. Anyways, word vomit seems to have come easily to me tonight which I guess is a good thing cause sometimes you just need to tell someone what's on your mind. One more week and I'll be home for Easter with my family and my fur babies!
