[ROUGH ENG TRANS] FUGOU KEIJI NOVEL: THE MILLIONAIRE DETECTIVE’S DECOY (Part 10.1)

Hi! I’m back~ I’m not yet done translating half of part 10 because I have a backlog of reports since I was on medical leave for a week. Anyway, for this one, I might thought that you, dear readers, might get confused. The author writes the story as if it is scene-by-scene in a movie. I have put dividers on them so that you can easily distinguish. Sorry I’m bad at explaining. This is 1/4 on the last Part for chapter 1.

"Really, I can't dance"

"Eh?" Suzue step to Suda's side a closer, letting him inhale a scent of lavender in her. Suda is a little confused.

"Oh. As a woman, I'm sorry for inviting you."

"No, that's not it. But I'm not good at social dance." Suda is embarrassed at himself for not saying it clearly.

"It's okay. There are quite a few guys here who are also bad at dancing, oh, is it not okay for me to be your partner?"

"No, it's not you." Suda was a little surprised when Suzue said it like he's mean, he was slightly taken aback.

She thought she is already familiar to everyone and already get used to it, Suzue’s earlobes turned red.

Hey, hey, Sakamoto thought. Isn’t that too naïve? If that’s the case, then it’s easy to take her heart away. Of course, to win her over it would be difficult. Marriage. Marrying this woman. Adopted daughter. Like that adopted daughter of this household. Even so.

Sakamoto’s chest swelled up with ambition.

Suzue is kinda like a partner/love interest of Daisuke here in the novel. In the anime, they seem like siblings but what if Suzue is actually adopted in the anime? we still don't know. 😂
