I like to know my writing partner. This isn’t always necessary, and if you’re not the sort of person who tries to get chummy with their roleplaying buddies, that’s absolutely fine, but in my experience, the plots and characters that last the longest are the ones with the players that I can message at 3 in the morning with an idea without feeling like I’m bothering them.

second funniest thing about Tommy being too nervous to ask out Kim is that in the scene where he's finally trying and fumbling she very very very clearly knows what's going on. The only thing stopping her from just asking him herself was that this show was written in the early 90s

OUT OF ANGEL GROVE. I am SO BEHIND for the MMPR/GGPR comics. I didn't realize it'd got so far or that a reboot is happening? I think? idk. So much chatter that my brain is melting with all the new information that has come out.

I don't even know where to begin with a reread. I know Go Go is pre-Tommy and then MMPR. And then some kind of overlap at some point. And AJJ came out with a new series as well and I have the book on order.

I want to bring this blog back but I'm not sure if I should. I mostly play Kim as older and post her main PR days. So like Dino Thunder and beyond kinda. But there isn't really anyone to play with for that time period/age group.

Out this week: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Return #1 (BOOM!, $4.99): 

The original Pink Ranger, Amy Jo Johnson, co-writes this one with Matt Hotson, joined by Nico Leon on art. It’s set in an alternate timeline where the Power Rangers defeated Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd, but at a “terrible cost,” then picks up 22 years after the team disbanded. So it kind of has a Last Ronin vibe to it.
