big day for me today! I posted the first ending to my fanfic. I've written 170,000 words since the last week of October, and I didn't write between mid November to the beginning January. So, really I wrote 170,000 words in about 2 months.

Allie really didn't have much to say in terms of comfort. This had been her first REAL friendship with a supe that hadn't ended in chaos and it seemed now things were taking a turn for the worse. Well, for her friend, at least.

"They used a good picture, at least..." Not great, not much help. "I mean..." Alice trailed off in thought for a moment, only to come up empty-handed.

"How about I get the tab tonight?"

        Vought’s former sweetheart had done quite the 360 turn. Now she was admonished by the company at every turn. She wore a hood over her blonde hair – hoping not to be recognized. Dainty hand wrapped around her beer, and took a large gulp. One that she almost spits out when she sees herself plastered across the television screen. “Oh, shit.”

The justification in her worries was thin at best, and mediocre and vile at worst. "You don't fucking know anything," The words slipped past him in a frustrated growl. He hadn't meant them to sound so fucking aggressive, truly, but the past was the past and the last thing he wanted to do was relive any of the shame that moved alongside him in a dense fog.

Tom left that town for a reason. Being there for only a few days had filled him with near insanity. He was pushed, abused, yelled at, and misunderstood... the level of scrutiny... nothing compared to returning to one's hometown to find that in the end, nobody and nothing had changed.

Moving along had been the only option. The constant wading through a torrential downpour was growing tiring, though. Finally, he told himself to try and make things work, try and meet a girl. That went to hell fucking early, apparently. "I didn't kill those people! Why do you think I left town?! No one ever believes me, you're my girlfriend and you don't even believe me!"

Nobody likes a sulk." lips turned up in a radiant smile and she leaned casually on her toes, arms raising up high above her head in a cat-like stretch, somehow comfortable despite his presence. Unfortunately, they had become somewhat... acquainted with one another, perhaps even friendly.

Meanwhile, Crowley idly sways the whiskey glass in his hand. Cue a poorly stifled huff and the demon briefly squinting at Alice, before bringing said glass to his mouth. " I'm just going to pretend I didn't hear that. "
