Dear Taylor,

I’m not sure if there’s any hope to this but I’d like to think about myself as a hopeless dreamer, so here goes nothing. There’s nothing in the world that I want more than for you to see this post.

My name is Laura, I’m 20 years old from Lithuania. I have been a swiftie for the past 10+ years. My first song of yours was Our Song all the way back in the end of 2008.

I’d like to tell you a story that started all the way back in 2006. September 1st that year was when I started school. That day, I met this boy. Here’s a picture from that day:

I’m in a long purple skirt and the boy in question is in the grey suit and orange tie. Me and this boy didn’t become friends right away, he was a little bit of a mean guy at first. However, two or three years later, we became best of friends. We would run around the school fighting “evil forces”. I remember, he gave me this ring with a blue stone that I wore every single day when I was eight or nine years old. 

Years went by. I found your music. I didn’t consider this boy my first love, so I had a lot of teenage heartbreaks. Your music was there through it all. Me and this boy (by then a guy) were the best of friends. Even more, I would say. We were insepparable. In 2011 he starred in a documentary called “Conversations on Serious Topics” and they asked him about me. That was when he told the entire country (or at least those who’ve seen the movie) that he loves me. This guy was 12 at the time.

Years went by. December 21st, 2015 came around. That was the day that this guy asked me to be his girlfriend…and I said yes. That day, I made the best decision of my life. 

In 2018 we graduated from high school. The school that brought us together. That very same year I saw you, Taylor, live for the first time. And I’ll be honest, if it wasn’t for this man, I wouldn’t have. You see, I’m disabled and nobody would ever let me go abroad alone. So he took one for the team and took me to London to see YOU. The picture below is us at the Stansted airport 20 hours before the concert I will never forget.

In September of that year, he went to study to the United Kingdom and I stayed here in Lithuania. Today he went out for the second year. 

A year passes, we go to a few more concerts together, he takes me to Paris and TO DISNEYLAND!!!! (can’t stop fangirling over that one).

Now, to the reason why I’m writing you this. On September 13th, 2019, 13 years and 13 days after we first met, we got engaged. We had the conversation a week before but the “official” engagement with the ring and stuff came that Friday the 13th. And Taylor, since you’ve been such a huge part of our relationship (Mine is OUR song)…would you please come to our wedding?

We’re not getting married until at least the ending of 2022, maybe even 2023. However, I’m daring to dream impossible things and just wanted to send you an invitation to our wedding. You’ve been like my best friend for so long and what is a wedding without the bride’s best friend, right?

I understand how busy you are and I want you to know that I do not expect you to drop anything for me. I do, however, feel the need to shoot this shot…because what if?…What IF?

so what you're saying is that if a freedom fighter group were hiding in los angeles, then it is completely justifiable to blockade the entire city, turn off all the electricity and water, give them absolutely no food, drop 18000 tons of bombs (3000 more tons than hiroshima), bomb every single hospital, bomb every school, bomb a refugee shelter, bomb ambulances, bomb every gateway out, kill 5000+ kids, and kill 10000+ civilians and counting? that's like... TOTALLY normal to do? if a freedom fighter group was just hanging out in LA. yk. then you're okay with just massacring and completely decimating the entire city full of innocent people?
