Fear Invocations

This one was a lot more complex and time consuming than the last two. The text was a bitch to do. (It still doesn’t look that great, but it works. :/)

Work in progress shot of the intro page to Part One of the manuscript project. The big quote in the middle is taken from Jordan Dooling’s part of the introduction to the Faces, Strange and Secret book, and the quote wrapping around the margins is from alliterator’s blog “The Fear Mythos” ( http://insertmythoshere.blogspot.com/2011/07/welcome.html?m=1).

This page’s illustrations are a lot plainer than the rest are going to be, I just kind of wanted to get the hang of the style. Also my caligraphy is shit. :/

To preface: I am offering a novel, for the price of any donation (ideally, my minimum is $5; any more would be enormously appreciated).

I have been looking for work, unsuccessfully, after having been fired from my retail job. I lost my job after having been forced to call in sick; due to an allergic reaction to smoke, I was up to 5:30 in the morning with blurry vision, a lot of chest pain, and a worsening panic attack that just made breathing that much harder.

The next day, they declared that I wasn’t ‘right for the job’ and dismissed me. I’d only been working there for two weeks, after a 4 month long job search. I’m completely financially dependent on my fiancee (who also has no job), at the moment; I can’t afford rent, or food.

So, I’m asking anyone who’s interested to donate (the Paypal button is on my tumblr homepage) and, in exchange, I will send a link to where my novel can be downloaded.

It’s been a while since I posted screens from my upcoming Panopticon: The Fear Mythos RPG, so here.

In particularly, the second screen showcases the Notebook feature. Since the Fear Mythos has its roots in creepypasta and blog fiction, I’ve decided to include a number of notes for players to collect. These notes are little pieces of flash fiction set in the Fear Mythos universe that don’t have much to do with the main plot of the game but do build some context around the setting.
