“Don’t-” His voice raised slightly as he turned around swiftly, eyes narrowed. Would he of usually been careful with his temper? Yes, usually. However, that was when he thought he was ‘Scrooge’s number one scientist’, but as ‘work acquaintance’ Gyro didn’t give a hoot and half about how he talked to Scrooge.

He didn’t care if he would lose funding, he didn’t care if he would have gotten fired and replaced. Because apparently, no one else did. His lab was gone, he was thoroughly soaked, and above all. He was hurt. Emotionally. Well, physically too but the emotional wounds were going to last longer.

 No one went to look for him or ask if he was okay. Not even Li’l Bulb, the creation he regarded to as a child or any of the others ‘loyal’ employees.

“Mr. McDuck, frankly, I don't want to hear anything you have to say. I’m glad to see you're in doing alright now, but as a work acquaintance I don’t think it’s appropriate for you to ask.”

I wanna say toon wise Gyro is very new. Like specifically made for the DT 17 series because the design and personality changes were too drastic for the previous Gearloose to go under. They’re friendly to each other, but ultimately try not to interact.
