hello character who is desperate to be a good person; i want to play a game. in front of you is the one person you will never be able to save. you have the rest of your life to make peace with this. there are no defined repercussions if you fail, but we both know you're going to attempt to win regardless. your time starts now
#bdef mike be like#which is funny because there are other characters who are much more defined by a drive to be good or do good#but nearly all of them dont...actually care about saving others in particular#one is a fatalist and believes that nobody can be saved nor can their fate be made much better. her idea of doing good is#letting herself be taken advantage of by others and being there for everyone. she doesnt try to change their decisions or thoughts or fate#but when they call shes there. her philosophy is that she wont attempt to lead you away from the gates of hell but if you#walk towards them shell take your hand in hers and follow your lead#another one is not a fatalist but she doesnt consider herself capable enough to save anyone and shes scared of being active in any way#she has a knight-ish mindset; her idea of being good is doing everything for everyone and taking whatever they dish out#and managing to make everyone have a nice day. her desire to be good and her measurement of goodness are directly tied to being#a people pleaser. she might save you or she might not; that is something she hates but shes willing to accept; but shed really hate it if#she couldnt be there for the person she didnt save.

Real hater of the unique kind of hell you're in when you decide that one of your characters' X feature will be modeled specifically after obscure actor Y you saw in some niche movie yesterday and when you try to grab some references you realise the film has like 2 close-up shots and none of them are of actor Y

Expansion-exposition. DLC (???. Perhaps Doylist/Dialogic/Dialectical Libretto of the Crow? Dying, Laments the Crow? DiaLectics of the Crow? Death's and Life's Catastrophe? You know because a catastrophe is also a part of a story.)
Ok for the STP AU so far I have only the worst titles you've ever heard but alas.
So far I have Mirror Feature (a play on double feature), Blade Cutting (a play on cross cutting), A Patch In The Woods (a play on, you know, a game patch), Shifting Build (a play on test build I guess?), and actually that's all I think. F.
