While the world celebrates women's day, let's talk about the tragedies women of Gaza went through:
- We saw pregnant women in Gaza give birth with no anesthesia & no hygiene.
- We saw women in Gaza using tent scraps in place of period products.
- We saw women in Gaza pulled out of the rubble of their homes.
- We saw women in Gaza rushing to the hospitals with the bodies of their children with the hope of saving them.
- We saw women in Gaza suffering miscarriages due to indiscriminate bombardment.
- We saw women in Gaza starving yet feeding their portions of food to their children.
- We saw women in Gaza coming out and communicating the trauma, horror and violence they went through.
- We saw Israeli soldiers celebrating with the lingerie of women of Gaza who were either displaced or killed by them.

Palestinians don’t have basic humanitarian supplies. No food or clean water and the Israeli army is given luxuries.

Wanted to let you guys know that Let’s Talk Palestine has just launched fundsforgaza, an initiative created for the purpose of spotlighting families in urgent need of emergency funds. This list highlights families who’re trying to evacuate Gaza, but which aren’t getting enough attention. Please donate if you can—and whether or not you can, spread this to as many people as possible. The delay between this second and the next could make a difference in whether a family gets to live or not.

Post for my 📌. There is no neutrality when it comes to the lives lost of over 25,000 innocent defenseless people.

not that incels and the like aren't a problem but im tired of anytime anyone brings up men & systemic issues people responding with "um that doesn't mean they get to KILL PEOPLE????" yeah true. did you know other men exist and also deserve to be discussed. "who cares about male loneliness it's just an incel excuse–" whoaaaah crazy idea but what if by only talking about MRAs when the topic of men's issues comes up you actually help MRAs recruit vulnerable people because they appear to be the only group taking these issues seriously.

I hate that people tend to picture a white person in their mind when they think of non-binary people, because the vast majority of non-binary people I've met have been other people of color. among my friends who identify as nonbinary, genderqueer, genderfluid, gender non conforming, agender, multigender, and "other" genders, the people who this way the most are my black, Latine, indigenous & Asian friends. yes I have white nonbinary friends, but most of my nonbinary friends are people of color. I'm a nonbinary person of color. this is not a white phenomenon - include us in your representation, because there's loads of us, and we've always been there.

AO3 Comments are SO SO SOOOOOOO important because you can only leave Kudos ONCE. You add to the hit count ONCE (every 24 hours).
So whenever someone updates their fic, the ONLY way an author knows who their regular readers are is if they comment on each chapter. And we WANT to know who's still reading.
Believe it or not, some of us think about the name that pops up constantly in the comments and go "omg I can't wait to see what they think of THIS SPECIFIC SCENE cuz I KNOW they'll say something about it!!!"

All those posts that are like "your life doesn't really start til your 30s-40s-50s" are wonderful and important but they make me sad so. Positivity post for anyone who's not going to get there.
People who have been told they won't make it til their 20s, 30s, 40s, whenever. Another month, another year, another five years, another ten or twenty. People who have known since they were little, people who just found out. People who are getting worse faster or slower. People who are in treatments that might help, but cause so much other damage. People who treatment didn't work for people who can't afford treatment. People who are medically fragile and people who are housebound and people who are bedbound. People who are losing their independence and people who have never had it. People who never know which infection, which flare-up, which episode is going to be the last one. People who are in hospice, people who have planned their funerals and written their wills and got their DNR in order. People who have tried everything they can and people who are making themselves worse and people who are being neglected by doctors and caregivers. People with genetic diseases that have taken family members already. Cheers 🧃🧃

People rly don't get that you can think you're being nice and still be incredibly ableist. You can repost the article about the girl with cerebral palsy getting asked to prom thinking it's so sweet that someone invited her without realizing how ableist you're being. You can make friends with the boy who has autism at school and joke with him that he's your boyfriend with the best of intentions- you are still incredibly ableist. You can push a person's wheelchair without asking because you want to help to be nice and you are still being ableist. You can grab the person who uses a cane to help them up without asking for permission to touch them only wanting to make things easier and still. Be. Ableist.
Polite ableism is just harder to talk about, you can't describe how it makes you feel enough, how it rips away your autonomy and makes you feel lesser than, and it's especially hard for those with intellectual disabilities to talk about and speak against, because it's so covert and it's EVERYWHERE.
Just like. Treat people normally??? Thanks

A lot of what transphobes call rapid onset gender dysphoria is just. Trans kids realizing they have a choice. I was “fine” wearing a dress a year ago. Yeah I would have disliked it, I would feel bad in it. (Bad in a way I can’t really describe like I wanted to rip my own skin off like I was on stage with single spotlight on me and people laughing,Iike an animal in a cage) but I could do it. It wasn’t until I started dressing more masculine that I realized how miserable dressing fem made me. How wrong it felt. Now the idea of having to put on a dress and heels is distressing because I know how much better I can feel. I know I don’t have to feel bad anymore. And I don’t want to go back.

too tired with people to say in " nice " way .
R slur is slur . R slur was previously diagnosis , that become slur , because people so violent hate intellectual disability . is insult by compare to intellectual disability , because think intellectual disability worthless .
can not speak for literally all others with intellectual disability , no , but in general from what see and who talk to , very few people with intellectual disability actually want see this word , and often think not even worth take back .
so . be quiet about right to " take back " R slur with autism , with ADHD , with anything other than intellectual disability . many actual people with intellectual disability do not want this word to even exist anymore .
where other groups might have movements to take back words , intellectual disability movement is to remove that word . both movement types can be right - which one work better depend on group - and should respect .
so . honestly , just want people forget word even exist .

hey um! with KOSA looking more and more closer to passing, email and call your reps to prevent it from passing! bad internet bills is a helpful site with an easy to fill out forum that does not take long to complete stop KOSA is also another good site w/ a prefilled out message you can send (with resources for those not in the U.S. too!), and much like bad internet bills, it has an easy to fill out form that does NOT take long to complete this is very important! because this will effect ALL of us, not just usamericans! this is something that has the power to irreversibly ruin the internet as a whole
